We are having meatballs in jalepeno jelly and rice with mixed veggies

Breakfast for dinner…banana pancakes with blueberries, hashbrowns. Scrambled eggs for the kids if they want them. DH and I will stick to the non-eggy items, it being Lent and all. 🙂

Dinner? Thinking take-out. Either that or I’ll starve.

What a great idea! I’m going to steal your idea…lol I’m so tired of chicken, we were having that, until I noticed this thread. 😛 thanks sam. 😉

Jalepeno jelly is (usually) a green jelly made from jalepenos and is kind of spicy. It is very good over cream cheese for an “emergency” cheese ball! I’ve not ever tried it with meatballs though. I imagine that might have something to do with my aversion to meatballs. 😛

Cereal and milk, oatmeal, some fried tofu, or one of those rations my brother sent from base.

im thinking some duck breasts, maybe a few venision cutlets, and those dove things where you wrap it in bacon and jalopenos then grill it…trying to clear out the fridge over the next few weeks before the semester ends so i have room for fish caught on break.

Roasted chicken that was a manager’s special at the market today, cheddar and broccoli rice, mixed vegetables and cookies for dessert.

Grilled chicken pizza, made a home. Easy and quick meal just buy the dough and assemble.

Oh well, I took a vote and ‘no one’ wants pancakes …etc for dinner. Chicken it is. I’m off to google a recipe because I’m so tired of the same ole same ole.🤷

Bon appetit, people.😃

Calgon take me away. (for those old enough to remember that commercial) lol

Ok…so hubby called from work, and he wants chicken tomorrow night for dinner. Sigh.

I wish we could skip this meal, sometimes. lol

So…dd now wants french toast…I’m off…

🙂

We went with breakfast sandwiches - bacon, egg and cheese on English muffins. A child in dd’s class gave her lice for the third time this school year, and meals with effort are not on the schedule this evening.

Laundry, showers, and lice combs are a different story.
