I am the only Catholic in my family. My wife and children go to church separate from me. I reverted back about 4 years ago. She is very Christian so we focus on our love for Jesus. Catholics can and do have a personal relationship with Him so we as a family listen to music and worship together; we read the bible together, pray together and I am trying hard to learn the faith so I can answer questions. For me as a Dad I want to teach the children Christ and Him crucified and risen and I ask the Holy Spirit to infuse them with His Fire.

It has become easier to be a split marriage over the years but it is never easy.

I’m the only Catholic in my family, but I’m also the only one who attends any sort of religious service full stop. So its just a matter of “Peter likes to go to church, that’s his thing”.

That’s kind of how my parents and siblings view me.
