Dr. Scott Hahn talks about catechumens here and I found this quite good too.
The so often misunderstood term, “mystagogy” that Dr. Hahn discusses basically just means that being involved with the Liturgy (Mass) itself (in addition to doing other things), in a sense, catechizes you. Even in the act of attending Mass, the catechumens (and in a sense we all) soak up the Catholic faith by a proverbial “osmosis”. Mystagogy.
