Am I the only one in awe about how popular this emaciated, McCarthy-esque lunatic is? Someone pleeeeeeeease tell me I’m not alone.

No…you are not alone… even when I was drinking the radical rights Kool Aid, I found this troll very acerbic…she’s as crazy as Michael Savage is ( a rightist) and as nasty as Mike Malloy (a leftist)…and she is very dishonest and always has her facts wrong and half truths skewed.

I like Ann. She can be a little extreme at times, but I find her to be truthful compared to Michael Moore who purposely lies and distorts.

I’d be happy to give you some examples about Moore. Can you give me some examples about Ann lying or distorting?

I don’t like Coulter. I don’t think we have to talk to or about people hatefully or rudely, though we may have to speak to or of them forcefully. I believe that we have to try to reason with people and when that fails, we have to continue to try to reason with them. “How to Talk to a Liberal…If You Must” is contemptuous in it’s tone and import. I don’t like liberals who do it either. I also, as a man, do not find her to be a lady in her speech.

I have to agree with this post. It isn’t so much the direction of her arguments, but rather the nasty and contemptuous tone in which they’re offered.

Exactly!! Thank you…You said this much better than I could have.
Let me just add: mean spirited.

No, you are not alone. She and Pat Buchanan should get married – with any luck they’d kill each other.

If you hate the facts, she is not your cup of tea …

If you have no sense of humor, she is not for you …

If you lie to yourself, even a little, she will make you uncomfortable …

If you are a liberal (which is someone that cannot understand how our grandfathers ever made it through the toughest times in our history without angering the whole world) you had better grow some thick skin … she is brutal! We all should learn a thing or two from Ms. Coulter.

God bless her and anyone that she takes to task!

I’m with the poster who speaks to her uncharitableness in approach.

For all commentators - liberal or conservative - look, if you have the facts to back up your position then there is no need for the rudeness, the bitterness, the contemptuous tones.

All that is for shock value and ratings, and for me, it distracts from the real story they’re trying to convey.

A lot of hot air with little substance - the lot of them.

Very, very unChristianlike behavior.

This is what I mean. She has you talking in absolute jingoisms!

If you love the truth, she still may not be your cup of tea…

Even if you have a sense of humor, she may not be for you…

Even if you’re absolutely truthful to yourself, she make make you uncomfortable…possibly because she’s ill bred and ill mannered?

this emaciated, …lunatic is?
That is an ad hominum attack.

There are times that she is right on. There are times that I disagree. I don’t have any problem with her.

Now Andrew Greeley at the Chicago Suntimes is another matter!!!

I am VERY Republican, and I do not like her. Sometimes she is alright, but, mostly, she is just uncharitable. Same reason I can only half stand Sean Hannity half of the time. I LOVE Rush Limbaugh because he IS so personable & charitable and will give one the facts without insulting the left. Ann is just mean and not at all Christian acting and that is what turns me off about her.

Wow! Talk about being charitable! What’s your beef with Pat Buchanan?

You definitely have that right. I get so upset every time I read Greeley, that I can’t believe he is allowed weekly in the paper. Chicago has some explaining to do…

Anne is OK, but unecessasarily uncharitable too often IMHO. However, she does seem to make her points fast and to the point. Her competition on the left disgusts me so much that I tolerate Anne.
