I too have always been a conservative Republican and detest Anne Coulter. She represents the lunatic right fringe of the Republican party, I also think Dubya is an embarrassment to the party.
This extreme right is analogous to the nonsense that you weren’t really black unless you believed that OJ was innocent.

I’m a liberal, but I really do try to look at both sides, which is why I come here. I was in BJs looking @ books and I picked up one of hers. I couldnt read more than a few pages. It was so vulgar and hateful that I couldnt believe this was coming from a woman who claims to be on the side of Christians. It wasnt her subject matter - I can disagree with conservative points but still respect their reasons for feeling that way - but the way she presented her arguments. She simply insulted people in horrible ways and refused to even acknowledge their right to have different viewpoints. i wouldnt care for a liberal who acted that way either. I dont even think Michael Moore is that bad. He more made fun of Bush in a humorous way. He didnt act absolutely hateful. If Ann wants to make fun of liberals, fine, I can take a joke. But shes just awful. No one should talk about anyone that way. Youd think liberals were Nazis.

Don’t have a copy of her book here. I’m fairly well versed in the era (my parents knew Elizabeth Bentley and the FBI agents who interviewed her) but I learned things in the book I did not know. It is an excellent introduction to the era as well. Wasn’t aware that one of the Soviet spies working at Ft. Mommouth and part of the Rosenberg ring fled to Russia, worked on Soviet weapons and then was interviewed by Ted Koppel on Nightline. The traitor wanted Social Security payments for the time he worked at the Radar Labs! He wanted the checks sent to Russia!
Interesting enough, Treason came out just after 5,000 pages of the Executive Sessions of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations of the Committee on Government Operations (McCarthy Hearings 1953-54)*were unsealed after 50 years.
They are too are a must read. Almost everything the MSM has written on the hearings was (and continues to be) distortions. The media and the left had to go after Coulter. She broke the big taboo. That topic was dead and buried.

Ann Coulter is for lower taxes, for school choice, for private pensions within Social security, opposed to the attacks by the ACLU and others on the free exercise of religion, for Federalism, against state discrimination by race, wants the Second Amendment to be honored, is against euthanasia, is against abortion and believes the more power is held locally by government, the better.
How exactly does that make her a fascist? Please be specific
Fascists supported abortion, supported euthanasia, took away the right to bear arms, levied punitive taxes, opposed all civic groups not under the control of the state, consolidated as much power in the central government as possible and were hostile to religion.
They also practiced Affirmative Action to the ultimate degree.
