How could we be so sure that we have free will when our action are seriously biased with our believes? Who said that the gift of free will is free? How could we act based on our free will when we don’t have a clear definition of what is good and what is evil?

Through our parents, Adam and Eve first, we have through our free will fallen away from a clear conscience. We now, through Jesus have a means to restore our conscience to purity.

It is the goodness of God that we see His salvation in Christ. Looking to Him, we will know what is right and what is wrong.

And how you could mature your intellect, namely sharpen your judgment, if you keep following others?

We do have free will. But our free will has been injured. We have a limping free will so to speak.

You’ll have to identify “others”

I follow one, Jesus Christ. He has many members of His one Body. I recognize His voice in others, and respect the offices of leadership He has established. We do not follow men, but the Teachings of Jesus, through faith in His Spirit, His Leaders, and the clear conscience He gives us through a conversion of our hearts.

What do you mean with injured? Can a kid distinguish between good and evil? Does a kid have any intellect hence free will? We learn as we grow but there is guarantee that our learning leads to freedom of will if we do not judge what we have learn to distinguish between good and evil.

Our relative most importantly our parents, our society, our teachers, those who claim that they know the truth including out number prophets, our out number Gods, Horus, Mithra, … Jesus…

Jesus said, “My sheep recognize my voice…”

He is the Good Shepherd. Do you disagree?

I mean that we have an inclination towards sin after the fall of our parents. Its not our fault it just we have inherited an inclination towards sin from our parents due to all of the human race being interconnected. Freedom is the ability to chose between goods. It is not the ability to choose between good and evil.

What I am saying is that we have to become our own Shepherd and to do so we have to grow our intellect to could claim that we have free will since our mind are biased hence is not free.

Why you don’t answer my questions? This is philosophy forum.

Sheep are led, each going their own way is a scattered flock. It was to the shepherds in the field that the angels revealed who was to be born near them. A humble saviour, who draws those who seek God to Himself.

What is wrong with a scattered flock if it no supposed to serve human needs?

Have you ever experienced any of these Lions?
Yes, and have done as they do. If our Shepherd has been slaughtered, who is not left unvulnerable? But if our Shepherd was raised by God, we have hope in His heaven.
