Yah, it is just taking longer to deal with the Catholic novelties.Their novel doctrines were condemned by an Ecumenical Council.
No Ecumenical Council will ever condemn an infallible Catholic doctrine. Perhaps you consider the dogma of the Holy Trinity or Hypostatic Union a novelty.Yah, it is just taking longer to deal with the Catholic novelties.![]()
What is most novel is making suspicion an integral part of one’s faith. Catholics being the continuous holders of the apostolic succession have no reason to doubt the truth we have. It is only those who do not want to believe the plain words of scripture that tell us to embrace the handed down traditions that must second guess and doubt anything. But that is the very essence of liberalism and protest - imagine problems that do not exist and then go create solutions to them or prove themselves out of their faith for lack of paper evidence.Yah, it is just taking longer to deal with the Catholic novelties.
Anyhow, it looks like that is it for me on this thread…thanks for the discussion. Randy, thank-you too. May God bless you both.
