What's the worst pro-abortion argument you've ever heard?

While I stand by my “I don’t care!” example I particularly find the arguments by those who advocate vegetarianism* and* abortion to be unsettling. Believe me, I’ve known people.

That’s considered an indirect abortion and is an extremely complex medical issue.

ALL direct abortions are not allowed.
A medical procedure which has as its primary aim the correction or healing of a disease, disorder, or injury, even if it will surely result in the death of the embryo or fetus, may be performed on the mother, provided the need for the procedure is serious enough. So the removal of a disordered Fallopian tube (one in which an embryo has implanted, which is abnormal and disordered) may be permitted even though it sadly has the certain result of the death of the embryo. It is serious enough because if the disordered tube isn’t removed, the mother will surely die. Likewise, if a pregnant woman has an advanced cancer and will die without prompt treatment, even if such treatment will cause the death of the baby, it may be permitted. And if a woman whose fetus is still premature begins to suffer from preeclampsia or eclampsia, the only cure for which is delivery, she may be delivered prematurely, even though premature delivery is dangerous to the baby. The pregnancy has become disordered and may be ended—but in this case it must be ended with delivery, not an abortion!

However, the medical procedure of direct abortion is never permissible. Pregnancy is not a disease or disorder. So if a woman has a condition that makes it unlikely for her to survive her normal pregnancy, an abortion is never permissible. However, treating the condition directly is permissible, even if it endangers the pregnancy.

Arguments that directly slam the goodness of human life are the worst. It exposes a decaying heart full of hate.

If we’re speaking of the worst argument I’ve heard from an intellectual level, I can’t tell you that, as they are all equally terrible. I do recall some particularly laughable arguments I’ve encountered, but I cannot recall any at this moment.

I’m on the side of logic and common sense, and those two things will always win in the end. With that said, I believe it is illogical to say a fetus isn’t a human. In fact, I’ve heard awful arguments in support of it. What’s the worst you’ve ever heard?

The worst I’ve heard is “animals kill each other, so HA!”
The first post on this thread is a pretty bad example: forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=471186

Before I start, I want 2 preface this by saying, although I m not in favour of abortions, I think they should b legal, and I do support abortion in the instance the mother’s life is @ seriious risk… having said that, I have heard a few awful Pro-Abortion arguments:
Animals do it
It’s just a clump of cells (as though we r not)
I don’t care
I regret getting pregnant (I regret getting my tattoo where I got it, but I m certain I m NOT going 2 cut my calf off 2 remedy the situation)
It’s my body (correct, and it was ur body that u put in a situation that could and did result in pregnancy)
It’s my choice (yes, u r right, and it also ur choice 2 murder, which u r about 2 do… 2 ur own child)
There r a few others, but I m just getting in from work, and 2 tired 2 list anymore. It is 2 early 2 rant and rave… ; )

The worst excuse I have heard (and believe me, I have heard ALOT), was just as quoted below

“Don’t you realize how much it must hurt to have a baby?”
Notice he said “must”. He is a man, and will never give birth to children (please God) so what does he know. Also, too much pain is the lamest excuse I have heard. Every excuse for abortions is stupid.

They’re all terrible, but one of the worst I’ve ever heard was in response to my argument that that unborn child could be the one who cures cancer, brings world peace, and invents a new form of transportation…

“Then again, it could also be the one who starts World War III or becomes a serial rapist/murderer! Remember, Hitler, Stalin, Dahmer, Gacy, and Manson were once babies too…”

The only thing I could do was close myself off and go into deep prayer…

Here’s one right from our own backyard:

Why have life just for the sake of life?
Other worthy mentions I’ve heard include “It’s just like if I cut off my finger, does that mean I killed my finger?” (oh the things you hear from snotty college kids) and I’ll also have to second the nomination of “I just couldn’t bear to give my child away!” (but you’re fine with having him or her KILLED?!)
