SEN. MCCAIN STARS IN BOOB RAUNCH FEST

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. – who once held hearings chastising Hollywood studios for producing R- rated films and marketing them to teens – is now playing a part in one!

Opening this weekend, WEDDING CRASHERS, a movie packed with raunchy moments and bare-breasted beauties bedding down with the guys.

And Senator John McCain!

“In a summer full of sequels and remakes rated PG-13, we feel an original R-rated comedy will stand out,” said Rolf Mittweg, president of worldwide distribution and marketing at NEW LINE.

Executives at the studio made a deliberate decision to swim against the current and fill the movie with four-letter words and lots-a-sex.

McCain joked on Tuesday, “Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson and me - we’re all pretty much starring roles.” McCain said he couldn’t resist a chance to appear in a Hollywood movie because “it impresses my kids.”

Actors Wilson and Vaughn play divorce mediators who slip into weddings in order to seduce guests. Its slogan is “Life’s a party. Crash it.”

WEDDING CRASHER’s director, David Dobkin, admitted that there had been some preliminary discussions about tailoring it for a less restrictive rating.

“At one point we sent the script to someone who knew about the rating system,” Dobkin reported, “and he sent back a list of R-rated elements. It was a massive list. The two funniest scenes in the movie would have had to go.”

During his senate hearings on Hollywood, McCain lectured Hollywood executives for pushing R-rated films:

“Motion pictures have to ability to elevate and inspire us. To weave wonderful tales, and to record our history. Clearly though, such is not the case.” **

Whatever it takes to keep his name in the news until the 2008 primaries.😉

I rember he was being interviewed and asked what would happen if Roe V Wade was overturned.
And he said he didn’t know what would happen. But thought abortion would availabe in some way but hadn’t given it much thought.

Oh my gosh if you can’t figure that one out you have no business being President. He is supposed to be pro-life by the way but hasn’t thought through the ramifications of his stance obviously. He’s probably pro-life because somebody told him it was the Republican platform and that in Arizona this stance polled well.

He’s a traitor, a sell-out. Him and the other republicans who failed us when we had the chance to shut-out the dem’s filibusters…

How dare he disgrace himself, his family, and his country by appearing in some trashy skin flick such as this. This is just another example of moral leadership our kids are getting from the elite in this country. People like him are not worthy of our time, much less our vote. The whole bunch just make me sick.

I guess he guessed since another former actor with Presidential aspirations disgraced himself in Bedtime for Bonzo and eventually won the Presidency ie Ronald Reagan that he could disgrace himself and win the Presidency.
Ok Reagan had dialogue with a monkey that was the star of his film but hey it wasn’t Raunch just a bad movie.
This film McCain did figures to stink as bad as a monkey movie and be raunchy that just makes him a monkey’s uncle and not a Presidential candidate.

Not very convincing on your part. President Reagan really didn’t have Presidential aspirations when he was an actor nor does a silly, good-natured movie with an animal really compare to being in a such a lowbrow film that Senator McCain seems so proud to appear in. Not only does that behavior taint his Presidential aspirations but it also demonstrates some hypocrisy on his part given his comments on “R” rated movies in the past.

Now I will admit the Senator’s role is probably just a cameo. But even so, poor judgement in my opinion.

It also demonstrates how desparate McCain is to be liked…he seems to have fallen to a place where he will do horrible things just to have people like him.

Not very observant on your part. My post was in jest and not to be taken seriously. Lighten up will ya!

Remeber, Jimmy Carter “felt lust in…” his “…heart”, and Bill Clinton stained a blue dress. Republican presidents seem to avoid these scandals.

I guess McCain wants to show he is a “moderate”.😃

I mistrust McCain’s stand on abortion. I think he is one who personally is against abortion but thinks it is up to the woman to make the choise (ie pro-choise) I think we need to watch the Republican hopefuls very closely.

McCain deserved to be ousted from the senate just for voting against the federal marriage amendment. Even Arlen Specter, who is wrong on just about everything, voted correctly on that one. And worse, McCain claims to be a conservative (:nope: ).

If he can’t vote correctly on something that simple, I wouldn’t trust him with supreme court picks either.

If McCain is a true Republican then I am a redheaded, left handed, Russian tank driver. I would never vote for him for anything. He should remember that those who stand for nothing, will fall for anything.

I agree - this is what I thought when I heard about it. I think he cares way too much for human esteem. Isn’t there anyone in public arena that lives an authentic life without having to be told what to think or try desperately to be liked? I’m beginning to think not, although Santorum comes to mind…?

  1. I love R rated raunchy comedies as long as they are funny and not shocking just to shock.
  2. If McCain had never said anything either way about these type of movies I would care less. But since he DID go on record and take a stance against them, I find him to be a major hypocrite.
But this is further evidence that ALL politicians are hypocrites so nothing really new here.

John McCain, like my 2 Senators (Snowe and Collins of Maine) are what they call RINO’s. That’s Republican In Name Only.
