What's with all the useless universes?

Flatness implies that while any one dimension may be curved, none of the others may be curved.

Not a small thing.
Before God created, there was nothing.
When God decides, he can take it back out of existence.

It is all his creation and he has full control over it.

Yes. Thats what i said. I said that God can create something from nothing! Its in the post i wrote. You can look back and check if you like. John thinks God cant do it so i was trying to tell him that he can. Maybe if he reads what you wrote he will change his mind. Thank you.

Thats right vz. Lots of people think its infinite and john said it cant be because then God couldnt destroy it. I thought that was a silly reason because God can create an infinite universe so he must be able to destroy it. But why hed do that i dont know.
 
Unless an infinite universe is self contradictory, God can create it.

Is there some reason to believe that an infinite universe is a self contradiction?

But I am trying to understand why create the dangerous species of mosquitos such as Anopheles gambiae and Aedes aegypti when there are more than 3000 species in the Culicidae family of mosquitos that do not transmit the severe human diseases. There is no really effective vaccine against Plasmodium falciparum carried by the dangerous Anopheles mosquitos and it can make people really sick as it stays in the human liver. There are so many thousands of different harmless types of mosquitos that can be used for food sources - so I don’t see the need for the dangerous ones.

Well, another reason might be that God simply wished to have some natural enemies of man in the food chain, as mosquitoes are not the only creatures that can transmit severe human disease. God does provide for many natural means of bodily death to humans in his plan for earth.
My impression is that you simply have a bias against the mosquito and/or can’t accept that God’s plan might include creatures that pose a danger to humans. With that, I’ll step out of the discussion now.
 
Nothing God has created is useless. He is infinitely wiser than any of His creatures and it is the ignorance or possibly pride of any of those creatures that would make any one of them think to consider the idea of anything He created as even “seemingly” useless.
 
Good morning Tis! I have to remind myself that the earth and the universe as it came into being from the Creator’s words was not under the affect of sin. Everything that would harm or hurt us is somehow tied to the presence of and the result of sin. Every good and perfect gift comes to us from Him.

P.S. I love being Catholic. I am finally in the Church Christ Himself commissioned. I even love our warts!!! Regardless, Catholics please pray for this Church and ALL her members daily. We all need it! Each of us.
