The Quiet Man was my husband’s favorite movie. John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara were perfectly fitted for the parts. I
 
My favourites are ’ Sissi ', Sissi, the Young Empress, Sissi, Wife and Mother ’ a trilogy about
the Austro Hungarian empress which starred Romy Schneider who sadly died at a young age.
The acting was superb, the scenery was incredible and it was also quite humorous.
 
Also The Informer 1935 movie with Victor McLaglin and Michael Collins with Liam Neeson…both great movies

I love this movie, too.

It is one of my all-time favorites as well.

I also love “The Wizard of Oz,” with Judy Garland, and also “Gone With The Wind.”

Those were recently on one of the movie channels. I had never heard of them before.
Looks like they were made in the late 1960’s or early 1970’s.

I loved seeing The Green Mile.

Such a great movie.

Some films really move me, emotionally. This is one that did.

One that I forgot to mention that I absolutely enjoy watching at this time of year is The Bishop’s Wife. 🙂
