When I interact with people, I like to tailor what I say and how I say it based on the audience.
When I go to a party, I usually end up talking to a few people at a time.
I don’t usually communicate to everyone at the same time the same way. So, Facebook is a bit unnatural for me. I feel like I am going to a party and shouting what I have to say to everyone at the same time.
Even if I would have said basically the same thing to everyone at that party, I would have said it differently, and I would have seen their reactions and altered my conversation.
So, I don’t hate Facebook, but I don’t love it either. I find that I end up thinking a lot less about some people than I used to because of it, and that bothers me.
With some people, I feel like I am reading their private diary.
It is a good way of keeping in touch with people that live in areas all over. Staying in their lives. I just don’t consider it too personal.
