***Lent officially ends on the Wednesday before Holy Thursday.Good Fri is not a day when we can eat meat or eat between meals…I would like a Catholic answer please. I am not interested in guesses from protestants
Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday constitute the Triduum, the three holiest days of the Church year after Easter.
All of the Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence. No meat is to be consumed on those days.
Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of fast (no eating between meals, one full meal and two smaller meals when combined equal another full meal) and abstinence from meat.
I hope this helps answer your question.***
