When Should We Genuflect?

Let’s keep on knowing more of Jesus Christ to be our goal instead of trying to learn what is the proper way to genuflect.

We can know how and when to genuflect and grow deeper in our knowledge of and relationship with Jesus Christ. God is most certainly the center of our attention!

Also, the Priests and Ministers never genuflect during the Mass. They genuflect as they approach the Sanctuary and as they are leaving at the end of Mass but never during the Mass.

I stand corrected. Minimum of four and maximum of six.

It seems there is multiple answers to this. I found this one elsewhere
*Traditionally, a priest or acolyte passing in front of the tabernacle during the Mass would genuflect each time he passed; however, recent instructions from the Vatican have indicated that it suffices to genuflect once at the beginning and once at the end of Mass.

So I don’t know if this means two suffice, but that there is no harm done if it is done more than once. It would seem to me that the argument for genuflecting before or towards the tabernacle as they pass before it would remain true each and every time they do.
Not withstanding that, I know priests I’ve seen bow during the mass when passing in front of the altar,eg for the reading etc.
Not wishing to digress, bowing or genuglecting during the creed. I know in the missalete it says bow, but is that to bow your head or what? I mean its not very practical to bow when standing in the pews, you’d be banging your head off the person in front of you.
Anyway, I’ve never seen people bowing during the creed, only noticed that they stopped genuflecting. ANy thoughts?

The bow during the Creed is a profound bow, that is, a bow of the body (not just the head).
