hi, haven’t been here for a while…just wanted to ask a question…
if someone who doesn’t like God,maybe someone who resents him or holds a lot of anger, wants to go to confession because he just feels like he has to since he has a lot of mortal sins or some other reason besides feeling sorry for them…is it good for him to go?
I have a friend who says that he hates God-because he cannot accept some teachings-and he doesn’t really want to “patch” things up yet (he wants to but he always says that he is too angry), but then he wants to go to confession just because it has been a while and he just wants to take holy communion.
I don’t know if that’s a wise idea.
