Firstly I grab my Rosary, which I now have, and hope to always, in my pocket.
Just having it near me seems to chase away all but the most insistent of wickedness.
I then say, as many times as necessary, and a few more after,
‘Oh my Jesus, have mercy on us sinners. Save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of your mercy’
Works for me anyway:shrug:
Quoted from Mr. Paul’s message,
“Sometimes, like yesterday, Our Lord wants us to humble ourselves and reach out to others and ask them to pray for us.”
Ah! Though isn’t it terrible? Often the enemy will try to trick us (well, when doesn’t he?) But I mean to say, he will give us 99% truth!
For instance, he whispered in my ear, that I must be so vain to go to God and pray for myself. That it would be selfish to ask others to pray for me when there’s such harm and hurt already in the world!

I can still remember the terrible agony of my pride as I so wounded it when I finally resolved to ask for assistance. It was completly unlike the gradual death of the concience born by years of rationalization, I see now.
