Where does it say God is Eternal?

In another forum, I did a pretty good job against mostly Jehovah’s Witnesses in defending the case for the Real Presence of the Eucharist, but in regards to it NOT “re-sacrificing Christ” it seems JW’s don’t hold to Eternity being God’s ever-present “now”… I pointed out this would make God so subject and lesser than time and causality, that God could change, but the JWs seemed to accept that, as I had no immediate scripture citation to defend Eternity as above and above Time. Any help, here?

How can he give eternal life without being eternal himself?

If God isn’t eternal, then someone would have had to create him. And if someone created God, he wouldn’t be God. It’s as simple as that.

That seems to say that God acknowledges the passage of time, but isn’t subject to it. I think he is speaking to our world in that passage, our world in which time and space exist.

Turn it around! Where does the Catholic document known as the bible state that God is not eternal? Tell them that it is impossible to disprove the Catholic faith using a Catholic document. Their opinions were spoken of by Saint Peter in his second letter, 2 Peter 3:16.

Put them on defense of the indefensible.
