Really? I am just shocked, shocked I tell you.
EWTN has great coverage! I can’t get streaming video at work but will watch the re-broadcast tonight. The mainstream media has largely ignored it, but as always EWTN is there and broadcasting it live. Don’t know if you get EWTN or not, but you can always go online to their website and watch the streaming video.
Justin Cardinal Regali, Archbishop of Philadelphia just stepped to the podium, FYI.

I don’t live in the St. Louis area, so I don’t know what appeared in the paper, but here is the Post-Dispatch’s article about the march, which appeared on their website. Here’s the Catholic news that the St. Louis Post-Disgrace has in the paper this morning:
Off the Menu: St. Raymond’s not serving lunch until Feb. 4.
About 2,000 people from Missouri and Metro East gathered in Washington this morning for a day of protests and prayer to observe the 36th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade ruling that legalized abortion.
Two days after massive crowds on the National Mall for the inauguration of Barack Obama, new streams of buses arrived in D.C. – 40 from Missouri alone – disgorging people young and old for a march and rallies on the Mall and in front of the Supreme Court.
stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/washington/story/1431D22770AD75348625754600619CD0?OpenDocumentThe annual gathering had a more urgent air this time around with the pro-choice Obama having replaced an ardent anti-abortion president and Democrats in firm control of both the Senate and House.
It may not show television coverage, but Google News shows more than 700 articles about the march. The mainstream media has largely ignored it, but as always EWTN is there and broadcasting it live.
Yeah…the Post put that article up in the afternoon…but now, just a little later in the afternoon, when I revisited the site, guess what?I don’t live in the St. Louis area, so I don’t know what appeared in the paper, but here is the Post-Dispatch’s article about the march, which appeared on their website.

Tens of thousands of abortion opponents rallied Thursday on the National Mall to mark the 36th anniversary of Roe v. Wade amid concerns they could face political setbacks under the new president.
The rally and subsequent march to the Supreme Court came two days after the swearing-in of President Barack Obama, which many at the rally said emphasized their need to become more vocal with their message.

Not at my end it’s not.Guess what? The article is still there.
And the Post-Dispatch website is carrying the AP coverage of the march:

I received a little more info and the news is good, thank God. Turns out the accident was not that serious, the bus was clipped by the semi. All got on another bus and continued on to the March for Life.I just received word via e-mail from someone in DC that a bus from a local St. Louis parish (I have the name, but I will not post it until I can confirm info so as not to worry anyone needlessly) was hit by a semi truck. Info indicates that the driver and several passengers are in serious condition. This is the only info I have. Let’s all pray for God’s comfort and healing for all involved in whatever may have actually happened.
