Elwill - who cares about all of the bull dinky you just posted. ** NONE of these people are PROPHETS OF God!!! - **
i think that the OP was care to know whither it was custom in early age or not to marry in this early age ( ragardless of relegions )

beside , i actually don’t know what is the age of girls which prophet supposed to marry ?

did your God , or God of any other religion spot the light unto this point ?

thanx

Everyone just ignore Hamba so he doesn’t start reposting stuff again, please.

You seem to be ignoring the other argumentations made in regards to this.

None of the prophets are ever really recorded marrying someone around 6 years old while still in their old age. Furthermore, no one ever married any one based on a single dream. If I claimed that I wanted to marry a 6-year old and have sex with her when she was 9, all because of a dream I had…well, that’s when Chris Hanson comes out with his clipboard and says, “Why don’t you have a seat over there…?”

That’s what I’ve been saying all along.

Not one of the Biblical prophets married a little girl.

And I’ve said, we are talking about mohamad, a self proclaimed prophet of God and **not **an average Joe Arab or someone from royalty in the Middle East in the 7th century marring a little girl.

B W, That case of the prophet marrying Aisha at the age of six or nine is closed. It has been proved in this thread that the matter was reported by some one who cooked Hadith. That person was in Koofa and he used to invent Hadith from his own mind.

There is no record in Quran of prophet marrying Aisha at very young age. All Hadith are not reliable. It is well known that Aisha was born before year 610 A.D., say 608 A.D. That means she was about 14 years old in year 622 A.D. i.e. Hijrah.

She married the prophet, two years after Hijrah, that means in year 624 A.D. she was sixteen (16) years old. Also take note that she was the only virgin wife of the prophet. All the others were either widows or divorced ladies.

So the question of Aisha being married at very young age is no more valid. Please look at the topic : “Where is that in the Quran?”

The right reply is that news is no where in the Quran. The OP has asked about the Quran and not the Hadith.

Planten has spoken, the matter is finished, eh Planten? Too bad for you it doesn’t work that way…

Any hadith that shows mohamad in a bad situation is a “crooked” or fake hadith, any hadith that shows mohamad in a great situation is a real hadith, even though the same author wrote those hadiths.

This is all laughable.

Any mutawatir hadith that shows Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to indeed be the true Messenger of God is just… ignored.

This is all so very sad.

What’s that… Do I hear violins in the background?

Hmmmm, perhaps… yes… yes… I do hear violins but they are so tiny I can barely see them… !!!

Edit to add:

Yes my post is cheesey! :D:D

Can you share some of that mince pice with me - yummm-o!!! 😛

I’ve been shoveling over 2 feet of snow here and I’m exhausted. 😦

Also, it’s not OK to stray from his topics…even though he’s off-topic to begin with. I would have loved to have seen Hamba’s life growing up, if it’s anything like his internet life.

“Class, today we’re going to learn addition. Hamba, what’s 2+2?”
“2+2=4, which is a mathematical fact, just as it was a mathematical fact that Mohammad is a prophet of God and that he split the moon and that…”

“All right, Hamba, present your book report before the class.”
“Ahem…The Old Man and the Sea, written by Ernest Hemingway. The Old Man and the Sea is about an old man, much like how Mohammad was an old man. And according to mutawatir hadith he is a true messenger of God and you must all prostrate and submit to Islam and…”

“Hamba, I think it’s time we move on from this relationship. I just don’t feel the connection between us any more.”
“You’re obviously not convinced by the mutawatir hadith. How sad. If you prostrated you would see that Mohammad is a true prophet of God who…”

“License and registration, sir.”
“The only real license was that given to Mohammad, who registered with the unbelievers when he split the moon…don’t tase me bro!! bzzzz

And yes, it is unfortunate that our arguments are ignored, yet we’re supposed to stop the presses and answer his arguments. I’m reminded of his statement that geologists believed the moon had been split: I asked him several times in the thread to cite those geologists, and he ignored me until I finally pressed him some more and he finally admitted that he couldn’t cite them, but that a friend of a friend had seen a nameless BBC documentary that had geologists which said that.

In addition to my last post…in a more serious and on-topic note:

Interesting point. Of course, for the believing Muslim, David and Solomon’s reprimands do not matter, because according to Islam all prophets (of which David and Solomon are numbered) are perfect and completely free of the touch of the devil. At the fall of Iblis, even Satan admits that he will not be able to touch the prophets. Therefore all prophets are “perfect,” and their actions are “perfect.” The problem is while the Koran nicely edits the lives of past prophets, Muslims are stuck with the historic reality of Mohammad’s actions, and must deal with his faults if he too must be “perfect.”

But yes, when David had a man killed and took his wife, he was expected to pay for it. When Mohammad does something similar or just as grotesque, it’s considered OK because he’s a prophet and his actions must be ordained by God.

You certainly put a different light on things! I find your post very entertaining. :D:thumbsup:

My problem with debating moslems (or mormons) is this: it is very much like debating the super abilities of Superman. Superman is a fictional character and as such, is capable of anything which his creator is capable of imagining. So, the field is pretty much open. So, although the historicity of both Mohammed and Joseph Smith are pretty well established, they are not “prophets.” therefore, their “superpowers” are totally fictional. In the case of Joseph Smith, we have only his word for his experiences. In the case of Mohammed, only the opinions and writings of people other than Mohammed, Mohammed himself being illiterate. Even moslems tell us that many of the accounts of Mohammed are false or suspect and do not agree on those which are worthy of belief. In short, a false religion,a false “prophet” who also engaged in perversion and child molestation, no "prophet of God.

Yeah, I have to agree with you here. But I don’t recall Mormons putting suicide belts on their women and children, or themselves, to go out and kill non-Mormons in order to get on a fast trip to heaven. Do they teach the hatred of Jews and Christians and call them apes and pigs? Or say they should have their heads lobbed off?

Do Mormons lie to advance Islam? Or do they allow slavery, beating their women, honor killings, assasinations, extortion, redefine words such as war and peace and innocent etc? If they do just let me know because I am unaware of it. I haven’t really delved into Mormonism. I am serious in that I do not know if they have that in their Book of Mormon or used to do such things.

I know they have polygamy and some marry children too, they don’t drink beer or smoke cigarettes, but that is about the extent of my knowledge of Mormonism.

I have been in Utah many times and have never felt threatened. What we are hearing in the USA are stories like this as the Muslim communities grow in numbers. There are also stories of things that go on in France in their Muslim areas where the police won’t even go into and non-Muslims take their lives in their hands if they enter.

Here we have Jihad training on compounds that even the women are shown military training. These are called ‘Muslims of America’ (or Jamaat al Fugra a terrorist organization).

:console:

Because that was off topic.

To reiterate the point:

In
“Marry of the women that please you two, three or four. But if you fear that you will not be able to deal justly, then [marry only] one …”

Islam is the ONLY religion where the faithful are advised to marry only one woman if they are unable to deal in a just manner towards all of their wives.
“In a just manner?”
You did not read my post, did you? Answer in honesty if you can.
“In a just manner… ?” Where is your heart man? What is “just” to you? material things, gold, children? No, the **intrinsic calling of the human person is to give and receive total self-donating LOVE.**Jesus said: “Everything you want people to do to you, do it to them”. This is the golden rule. Another way to say it: “Dont do to others what you would not like done to you”.
The golden rule of Christianity is LOVE, Hamba. The Bible says God is Love (1 John 4:8).

Imagine you fall in love with a beautiful woman and marry her. One day she takes another husband. Sometimes you make love to her and you hear her words of appreciation. Other nights you can hear her having intercourse with the other men she married after you. Is this the love of your deepest needs? No this is humiliation and lust in disquise.

Not a pleasant thought, is it?
God never instituted polygamy. He tolerated it yes, He didnt wipe it out in a day (just like He does not wipe you out but want’s you to repent and live) , but every truly Abrahamitic religion has the law of JAHVE written on their hearts in the New Covenant and does not practice this repulsive thing anymore.

You see, polygamy is far from the LOVE that God called us to. Marriage is the sign of God’s own inner Life. It’s pure and total self-donating love. You cannot TOTALLY give your self to 3 women…
There will never be a woman in history who did not suffer jealousy, sadness and humiliation when her husband practiced polygamy… In Islam you keep your women under the foot instead of respecting them and treating them like the princesses they are in God.

Even if you dont know this according to your religion, I dare you to open the eyes of your conscience and heart.

Now I will leave you to your self because you have nothing to say to my posts, because you dont know the true Nature of God and the salvation-history.
You know nothing about the foundational concepts of covenant, sonship and atonement.

Peace and may God give you grace this Christmas to realise He is after your heart. Not after your dead laws of iniquity.

Islam gives Muslim women the right / option to stipulate in their marriage contract the condition that their husband may not enter into another marriage without their consent.

Huh??.. Is this true?

Yes… I will repeat it again → Islam gives Muslim women the right / option to stipulate in their marriage contract the condition that their husband may not enter into another marriage without their consent.

And so, no Muslim women need to suffer the “humiliation” of seeing their husbands take a second, third or fourth wife, provided that they did indeed stipulate this condition in their marriage contracts.

Most Muslim women however see no need to put this condition in their marriage contract and indeed, many are happy to lawfully share their husbands with another woman as this would enable them to enjoy more private time on their own while at the same time enjoy all the benefits of staying married and being taken care of.

What female muslim in her right mind would do such a thing- she would be subject to beating for ill-conduct because she is not allowing her husband to act like Mohammad and she is not acting like Mohammad’s wonderful wives.

4.34 Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them, refuse to share their beds, beat them; but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means: For Allah is Most High, great.

In Islam the woman is property- when did property recieve rights?

2.223 Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; but do some good act for your souls beforehand; and fear Allah. And know that ye are to meet Him, and give good tidings to those who believe.
