It makes this outrageous claim about the Koran
“The situation is quite different in the Qur’an. The Book
mentions precise mechanisms in many places and describes clearly-defined stages in reproduction, without providing a single statement marred by inaccuracy. Everything in the Qur’an is explained in simple terms which are easily understandable to man and in strict accordance with what was to be discovered much later on.”
So ‘somewhere between the ribs and the spine’ is
precise. Thank God that surgeons don’t operate with such precision!
“Precise mechanisms” is rather specific a description. Let’s look at what it says for one particular “precise mechanism.”
“The Qur’an sets out by stressing the successive transformations the embryo undergoes before reaching its destination in the maternal uterus.” (Ibid.)
How does it do this?
“–sura 82, verses 6 to 8:
“O Man! Who deceives you about your Lord the Noble, Who created you and fashioned you in due proportion and gave you any form He willed.””
(Ibid.)
Now I ask any reader how does the statement *God fashioned you in proportion *relate to the destination of an embryo? Where is the uterus mentioned? It is if anything NOT precise. Where are the various stages mentioned at all?
Let’s look at another…
“Fertilization is Performed by Only a Very Small Volume of Liquid.”
The Qur’an repeats this concept eleven times using the following expression:
–sura 16, verse 4:
“(God) fashioned man from a small quantity (of sperm).” (Ibid.)
The problems here are many and varied, not the least because the site itself goes on to quibble about ‘small amount’ (recall above ‘precise mechanism’,). Further to this ‘
man’ is not fashioned from sperm. The embryo has both male and female sex cells contributing to it.
What is in fact most telling is that following scientific discoveries, they do admit to tampering with Koranic teachings to make it fit with science…
"Modern authors however, like the commentator of the Muntakab edited by the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Cairo, have corrected this view and note here that the ‘small quantity of sperm’ is made up of various component parts. The commentator in the Muntakab does not go into detail, but in my opinion it is a very judicious observation."

Reworking of the facts!
One of the better reworking of the facts is the highly edited verse…
"Once the egg has been fertilized in the Fallopian tube it descends to lodge inside the uterus; this is called the ‘implantation of the egg’. The Qur’an names the lodging of the fertilized egg womb:
-sura 22, verse 5:
“We cause whom We[78] will to rest in the womb for an appointed term.”(Ibid.)
Not only does this not mention any fertilised egg, it simply mentions being in the womb; which was the limit of science then, because even in Christianity they knew of ‘the womb.’ But Sura 22:5 is a lot lot bigger
“O mankind! If you are in doubt about the Resurrection, then verily! We have created you (i.e. Adam) from dust, then from a Nutfah , then from a clot, then from a little lump of flesh, some formed and some unformed (miscarriage), that We may make (it) clear to you (i.e. to show you Our Power and Ability to do what We will). And We cause whom We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed term, then We bring you out as infants, then (give you growth) that you may reach your age of full strength. And among you there is he who dies (young), and among you there is he who is brought back to the miserable old age, so that he knows nothing after having known. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down water (rain) on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells and puts forth every lovely kind (of growth)”
So within one verse is a huge amount of ‘evidence’; dust, clot, lump of flesh.
In summary the precise mechanism involves very vague passages about male liquid, only. There is a recognition made that they re-work translations to fit evidence, and they have ignored a huge amount of evidence , or just edited out 9/10ths of a verse in order to make it fit.
