I always enjoy dialogue with charitable folks.You should do that if you want to have a dialogue, assuming it’s the topic or related to it.
And I don’t see why I’d be required to submit to that person’s definition of SS.
Why couldn’t I say, “Well, you say that SS means A, but I’ve also heard that SS means B. I’m not sure that I have to go by your definition, esp since the Bible, which seems to be the authority for all SS advocates, doesn’t define it”?
