If you go back in the thread, we established that. They are primarily catalog with a few outlets.

Their “tall” was 32 inseam. And that was only on a few items.

🤣

you tall people…LOL

Us midgets also have problems finding good clothes!
God bless you!

Nothing in particular.
I like baggy pants and full long tops. Just wondering where to buy. Places mentioned I’ve shopped (Lands End, Talbots, etc.).

If that’s what you like, Zulily is awesome for tops, good quality very low prices!

I could swear I just got a catalog from them. I thought they closed too.

Edited to add yep they are back…coldwatercreek.com

They were closing or being bought by Ann Taylor or one of those , when I left US.
They stopped being online, several trips I didn’t tsee the stores and till today,I had taken for granted it had closed completely.
So glad for my mom cause she loves the clothes I bought her there,Tis. And can keep buying for her. It was unexpected good news. Little " hugs" for mom.

I love J Jill pants (and they always have a lot of cropped options - which with my inseam is a blessing), but their tops are way too boxy for me and make me look far bigger than I am.

That would be be how I figured out some of the demicamis and such.

Take a shirt that looks perfectly modest on the model. Remove 4 inches of height and add three cup sizes. The modest shirt suddenly looks very showy. And the whole sizing up to fit my chest does result in frumpy looks.

I can hem…I can imagine that being in the position of having to add is a bit more of a challenge.

What’s equally frustrating is when the tag says “petite” or “short” - and the danged things are STILL four inches too long. And yes, that actually happens A LOT. There is no way on this planet I’m paying to hem pants that are supposed to be my length to start with.

Dudes have no idea how easy they have it! LOL. With a few exceptions in cut I can buy the right waist and length for my other half and pretty much know it will fit. It’s infuriating. 🤣🤣🤣

Don’t get me started on sleeve lengths… Why do only men’s shirts come with length options?

Legs are easy. The real problem is when you have to choose between having the hip curves on your thighs, or having the waistband on your ribcage. And don’t even get me started on the waist/hip ratio.

Yep. I’m there too. I know the virtues of darts in the waist.

And the annoyance when your belt slides above the waist of your pants. Grrr.

And WAIST GAP.

Coldwater Creek closed its brick and mortar stores a few years ago, but has continued in the catalogue business. I am holding their latest lovely catalogue in my hand. Their clothes are beautiful and ladylike. I love the pastel colors. I have ordered a lot from them, and the quality is good. I just wish that they carried more items in the petite XS size!

Does anyone know where a woman can buy modest attire for every day and church?
Go out to Amish country, they have different stores and the Amish gals are always dressed modestly.
Modesty requires temperance. One could argue that Amish clothing is not modest because it is the religious garb of a non-Catholic religion and it would be a costume that could provoke a certian level of allurment in a society that does not have that as the norm.
