I am impressed with the support for Gay and Lesbian relationships!!! This is good to see people stating the obvious and supporting their brothers and sisters. God is really in the House
I have to say that Divorce is a tough one because so many people use it to get out of a relationship for soooooooo many reason. I have toughed it out 23 years with my wife and it has not been easy. She is Bi-Polar and refuses treatment and had a problem for many years with monogamy. I have taken so many lumps and bumps it is incredible to see I am still married and of course I am not an easy person to live with either at times. I think that a priest should be given the right to elect an annulment instead of it floating around the Dioceses until the Bishop can review it. That way it would make it much more accessible. I do not want or wish to see more annulments, but there are a lot of times that you can not stop the other in a Divorce and that leaves you out in the cold. That is not right.
I do accept birth control but not abortion. I am sorry I feel it is better to stop things from happening instead of after the situation reverts to an abortion. I know the Church dislikes birth control immensely and a wrong can never make a right. It just seems that birth control ceases the need for abortion. Not producing the eggs vs. killing a fertile egg with an embryo in it. The latter is the crime.
Finally, I have a problem with the belief that hell is a final stop for those refusing to accept God. I believe even though I am told again and again I am wrong, the God never gives up on us!!! EVER!!! We are made to mess up and this world pushes us to run from God. If a person fails to serve God and renounces him in life, but then sees how wrong he was in death, there should still be away that his or her time in hell is not eternity if the person is sincere and willing to truly repent, even at a later time. The God I believe in truly does not allow a soul truly willing to repent to wither in hell.
Thank you.
