Ummmmmmm…is this an open book poll? 😃

I do not have enough knowledge about all the councils to even think about answering this question. Karl, I hope you weren’t expecting a landslide of responses on this one!

Yes, Arius was not a bishop, but rather a heretical priest. The reason St. Nicholas came up and punched Arius was because Arius had been a student of St. Nicholas. The holy man was proably so incensed at the blatant heresy of Arius he came up and smacked him :whacky: !

Yep. Arius deserved some smacking for being a heretic. Looks like beng got some smack love himself.
