Lately I’ve been mainly attending the 9:00am Mass on Sundays because that’s when the Adult choir, of which I am a member, has been singing. Occasionally we sing at the later Mass.

I liked it better when we used to alternate with the Youth choir between the 9:00am Mass and the 11:00am Mass but that is generally not the case anymore.

We vary, depending on my work schedule and other weekend activities. Most often we atten the 1:30 pm Sunday Mass. But sometimes we attend the 4:30 Saturday, or the 6:30 Sunday. Least often the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday (we’re not early risers) or the 8:30 p.m. Sunday Mass (the last chance Mass:D ).

We have a lot of options at our parish. There’s a 7:30 a.m. on Sunday too, and 11:30 a.m. also (but that’s in slovak).

Our church is relatively new and has only two Mass offerings, a Saturday night vigil Mass and Sunday morning. I usually attend the Saturday night Mass because it’s smaller and though I do love kids, there are fewer of them at night. In the morning Mass they are pretty active! But sometimes I do both because they often have an event or a speaker after Sunday Mass.

Coming from a “talking heads” Protestant denomination, I LOVE Mass. It is truly a sacred celebration.

I find the comments interesting. Many people are very attached to their Sunday Mass Time, and refuse to attend at a different time, even when asked to perform a ministry.

Ours is a parish where EMHC are neccessary, due to
  1. Growing headcount
  2. Too small parking lot
  3. Our bishop wishes communion always available under both species.
But it is a real challenge to get the EMHC to want to minister at a mass other than the one they always attend. Despite the need.

I went to a “Jazz Mass” once in Sacramento. I was still in the Eastern Orthodox Church at the time. I mentioned to my friend, during the mass, that the litrugy is divine and shouldn’t be messed with. There were women dancing in front of the alter, in front of the Bishop. It was a weird kind of dance, too.

I attend at least two, sometimes more weekend Masses. 9:00 am for RCIA, then Noon if it is youth Sunday, 5pm Saturday if I know the next day will be very busy (Sunday is a work day for me) so I can have one Mass where I am not doing something, just worshipping like everybody else. Spanish Mass at least once a month, 7:30 am if it is a retreat or other special event that lasts all day. during Easter season I attend all 5 Masses for 6 weeks for first communions. Sometimes I go to 5:30 sunday on campus nearby to speak to the students, or because I missed earlier Mass due to other duties.

I attend the True Traditional Tridentine Mass at 9.30 am[or 5.30 am for you californians]

I always go to the Sunday vigil mass, 5pm Saturday. (It should be called the “Sunday vigil mass” by the way) 🙂 If I go out Sunday it’s when transportation is most convenient, so it may be early, midmorning, or later. I often make it out on Sunday as well, but when not, I have been to Sunday vigil.

8.30 am every Sunday with the entire family. We are seven and occupy almost a pew. Sitting together at Mass since the children were very young has helped both of us control them at Mass, though this could be quite frustrating at times.

I usually go to the 7:15am mass. Or the 7:30am mass. I rarely go to the 8:00am mass anymore. Once in a great while I’ll go on Saturday at 5 or 5:30pm…it depends on if my dad takes Saturday off, or if he’s going racing the next day or something like that…🙂

Our parish, run by the Institute of Christ the King(Tridentine), hasn’t a Sunday vigil Mass, but we do have two Sunday morning masses. We attend the one at 7am though we have 5 children, because we’re all early risers. We sit in the front row so the children can see better what’s going on!

Arriving at church a little after 7 AM, my husband and I attend Holy Mass at 7:30AM every morning including Saturday morning and we like to attend 5:30PM Vigil Mass on Saturday evening. It is attended mostly by elderly people like ourselves (we are 72 years old). I guess we are different: Mass every day with twice on Saturday and never on Sunday. However, we observe Sunday as a holy day of rest and quiet. We know we are espcially blessed to be able to attend Mass every day which we have been doing since 1985 when we moved to Florida from New England.🙂

Sometimes I go on Saturday Night, but mostly at either 9:00 am or 10:30 am on Sunday. I voted for later Sunday Mass.

Usually late Sunday morning, unless we have a conflict in which case Saturday vigil. I would go earlier on Sundays if it were up to me, but with a family of 5 it is NEVER up to me 😛 .

I prefer Sunday 12:15pm Mass, so I can fix breakfast for my husband before he spends the morning at his assignment, but have been attending Saturday Vigil because my dad can’t drive anymore, but that’s the Mass he likes (unless there’s a Michigan football game on 😉 ).

I’ve been attending Saturday evening mass since I joined the Church in 1993. This was because I played in bands on weekends and knew I couldn’t handle getting up early, even for noon Sunday mass, because I tend to be dizzy in the mornings when my blood pressure is down. (We do a lot of kneeling and standing at our church, more than in other parishes here.) I finally stopped playing in bands but just got used to the Saturday routine.

1 p.m. Sunday because that is when we have an available time slot for the Tridentine Mass.

I usually – well, honestly, always – go to the 830 Mass on Sunday morning and then try my hardest to make it Vespers & Benediction that evening.
