That’s another excuse. Trump won’t give a reason for firing two brothers so you don’t need to either

PaulinVA . . .
Retaliating against( firing) someone who testified against you is a Federal criminal offense. (18 USC 1513).
Hold it!

I thought he was not testifying against President Trump but was just testifying to the objective facts?

Ya mean he was testifying AGAINST the President??

.

.

Vindman should have been fired for telling Ciaramella things that Ciaramella had no business knowing.

There will be other reasons that the National Security people have on him too. Which will come out if the Democrats try to make hay over this too.

And Ciaramella should be fired too.

What are you saying.
The Inspector general said the allegations were credible.
Why would you bother defending it.
It is a message to future witnesses

Not fired, re-assigned.
Uhm, no. Ask anyone who was relieved of command or was reassigned early if they were “fired”.

Of course, you can be “fired” from a posting. Of course, it was retaliation.

Trump THINKS he was testifying against him.

They are defending it. And the bar is set lower. How do you reason when the desire is a lower bar

PaulinVA asserting motives . . .
Of course, it was retaliation.
PaulinVA pretending to know what President Trump thinks . . .
Trump THINKS he was testifying against him.
And there ya have it.

Despite Paul being a man without a party, he has imbibed the Democrat methodology that has gotten them into so much trouble.

He isn’t guessing at what Trump thinks.
Trump would be insulted if people were guessing.

It seems the dominant thought is that Trump should surround himself with untrustworthy people
No argument from me, since this pretty much seems to describe how he has hired for advisory and cabinet positions so far.

Seems to me the GOP in the Senate has made the calculation to cease checks and balances of the president. There is no evidence they would determine anything Trump cannot do.

It’s all about retaliation. The impeachment was retaliation against Trump for handing Clinton her lunch. Trump is now retaliating. This is politics. It’s not about you and me. It’s not about making our country better and stronger. It’s about power.

Retaliation is illegal in virtually every job situation, yet here it’s okay? If its all about retaliation, and you agree with what happened to the LtCol, then you should have no issues about what the house did to the Impeached-in-Chief…so which is it?

If this keeps up, the Impeached-in-Chief will fire himself by midnight!

I don’t think anything will happen with this, though Vindman will surely sue the government and perhaps write a book that all the liberals will buy before the election.

The question is one of intent. This guy was supposed to be advising the president and his team. Instead, he decided to conspire with this Ciaramella or whatever his name is, leak information, and with the Democrats in their impeachment effort.

No employer would keep someone like that around. If nothing else, his presence would have a dampening effect on the morale of others who could never know whether he would betray their candor and in particular whether he would spin it.

In my opinion, Trump should have fired or transferred a bunch of these wolves in sheeps’ clothing a long time ago, and I fault him for failing to do it.

Yeah, it’s all okay. It’s been fun to see. And it’s far from over.
