All of us who pray daily that the USA President will join the Catholic Church look forward to this opportunity for our Holy Father to witness to him.

We can only hope that Obama will follow the advice of the Pope, especially on the issue of abortion, and not turn a deaf ear – as the supposedly Catholic Vice-President of the previous administration did on the eve of the Iraqi Fiasco.

However, Americans do what they will with little regard for anything other than their own special interests . . .
 
Our diocesan newspaper reports that they will meet one evening before the President leaves for his next destination.

I’m hoping it will be another meeting w/o a photo op, like Pelosi.
