This is in contrast to a clear pattern of corruption, cronyism, dishonesty, secretive back door deals and arm twisting. That’s a scandal. Having a VP with a bad aim is not.

I wish someone would talk about the IRS sharing confidential information. It would be interesting to hear people’s thoughts about this particular thing.

In biblical times, tax collectors were included in the ranks of sinners and prostitutes as the lowest form of human life that existed in that society.

The IRS have brought the profession to a new low.

It was very convenient therefore that that was excluded from the list above, which was otherwise inclusive of all the prominent crimes and misdemeanors that Bush was accused of.

Bush went to Congress with the information he had. Congress approved the resolution to go to war on the SAME information Bush had. This one is not “Bush’s Fault.”

Every Obama scandal is real, but every Bush scandal is imaginary/propaganda/misunderstanding/etc.? :rolleyes: And the thing that makes it so funny is that I don’t even like Obama. 🤷

Obviously the Obama defenders have nothing to say to defend his egregious actions so they resort to obfuscation, re-fighting past wars, ginning up controversies that proved to be nothing but breaded air (Plame).

Obama’s administration and Obama himself simply lie or refuse to provide information that would serve to counter the charges. They have sadly successfully run out the clock on such scandals as Benghazi, a debacle that should have demonstrated Obama’s incompetence as well as his dishonest response to related questions.

What I find interesting is that when President Bush’s approval rating dropped to the level of Obama’s current 37% the media howled from the rooftops. If it were not for alternative media we might not even know. Given that Bush’s tenure was characterized by relentless demonization by the media while Obama has been coddled, protected, and saved by the media since his 08 campaign began, it’s pretty amazing that his own bumbling and corruption has been found out by many of the American people who were fooled last time.

Though it has its faults, I actually prefer Fox News over others. Again, that’s why this is so funny… the poster right above me calling me an “Obama defender” as if I care a single ounce about Obama. Never voted for a Democrat in my life. Not once. It’s just a matter of being realistic: are you going to look at the evidence for various charges or are you going to put your blinders on?

Yes exactly! And what evidence do you have that the charges against the Obama administration with respect to the IRS are false? So far no one has come up with any actual support for the theory that the IRS didn’t engage in egregious if not illegal activities with respect to perceived enemies of Obama. Instead all we hear is that Bush was a bad guy…

Not very compelling for me but YMMV.

Golly you must not realize that Nixon was a Republican! Don’t have a good word to say about the man. I spent one high school summer glued to the TV watching the Watergate hearings. I registered as a Democrat and didn’t vote for a Republican until Reagan’s SECOND run. I think I voted for Jimmy Carter :eek: the first time…either that or the 3rd party guy (John Anderson?). I absolutely DETEST Chuck Hagel. So your latest assumption is just no more valid than your other claims. I do judge candidates by their ethics, accomplishments, and credibility not by the letter behind their name.

But once again instead of providing any facts or evidence that Obama and his followers, sycophants, and obsequious media haven’t lied, hidden information and obfuscated rather than admitting to their Stalinistic tactics regarding real or imagined enemies you attack the messenger since you have no message to support your guy.

Do you have any information or do you just want to continue to pretend to address the thread?
