White House Issues Guides on Sept. 11 Observances

It seems the Obama admin. is at it again, trying to create a world view instead of concentrating on US interests. This time, it involves their words on the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 events:

“Copies of the internal documents were provided to The New York Times by officials in several agencies involved in planning the anniversary commemorations. “The important theme is to show the world how much we realize that 9/11 — the attacks themselves and violent extremism writ large — is not ‘just about us,’ ” said one official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe internal White House planning.”
What?! I thought it was the US that was attacked on 9/11. Does the memory of that have to be transformed into something else so that we’re not trying to garner too much attention?

The admin. also has this to say:
“A chief goal of our communications is to present a positive, forward-looking narrative,” the foreign guidelines state.”
But they’re failing to mention the effective strategies the US is using to combat further acts of terrorism:
“That may be, but some American counterterrorism and intelligence officials are complaining that the White House missed out on tying together the 10th anniversary with recently announced strategies to combat terrorism and violent extremism into a more coherent, longer-term plan. “They don’t do that kind of long-term planning,” said a senior counterterrorism official.”

Apparently according to the Obama admin., we shouldn’t give ourselves any too much attention or too much credit. We have to tailor our actions according to what the rest of the world might think of us.

Barack Hussein Obama is the most pathetic excuse for an American, let alone a president, that this country has ever vomited out of the Chicago slums. He keeps his true feelings concealed relatively well for the most part, but every so often he slips up and lets his actual views about this country ooze out of his mouth, as in this instance. He disgusts me beyond my capacity to explain the disgust properly. AFAIC, he cannot be removed from office fast enough.

I am not an American. I lost someone very close to me in the towers on 9/11. He was not an American either. While the attack on the Pentagon was a direct attack on the US itself, the attack on the towers, the World Trade Center, killed people from 160 countries. Of course it is right that Americans should feel the pain of what happened on their soil, but it is also important to remember that not everyone who died was born in the US. There are 9/11 families and loved ones all over the world. I hope that the tenth anniversary will allow those from other countries to reclaim their loved ones death. This is not a criticism, but sometimes the attitude of Americans toward 9/11 can make those of us from other countries who suffered losses feel like our suffering is forgotten.

When I watch the coverage of the events on this coming anniversary, I will, once again, feel a great sense of pride that the answer the USA sent to those who carried out these terrible, evil acts was to elect a Black President who had a Muslim grandfather. That is the ultimate sign that Al Queda will not win.

Our president is supposed to be our leader. Someone who has pride in his nation and is willing to do what he can to help our people. I don’t see that with this man.
