Buying into the “White Privilege” term actually seems pretty condescending to blacks as it’s being described here. “I must acknowledge and increase my awareness of my privilege and pity you for your lack of it. You need me to help you out of your unprivileged position.” Virtue signaling at it’s worst. Ugh.

Yeah it’s been pretty interesting to see all of these Hollywood stars getting the smack down for trying to say something supportive for BLM. Either they say it wrong, or, they get it right but someone dredges up something from their past to accuse them of being a hypocrite.

Being white means nothing. Nothing about our pigment had anything to do why the Europeans became so dominant. For most of human history Homo sapiens in Europe imported technology from other areas. It wasn’t until Christianity took root that the search for God led them into prominence in mathematics and other areas.

The first study cited in this article is of the type I have read about in the past, where they used different names or different people but the same information: Study: Racial Discrimination In Mortgage Lending Continues To Impact African Americans, With A 'Black' Name Lowering One's Credit Score By 71 Points

There are others which say that black people are more likely to be turned down or given higher-interest mortgages, but I do not know how those studies are conducted, so I rely on the type that is set up as the first one in the article is. I have read about similar studies over the years.
