It’s supposed to be Barry Manilow. The name Manalo came up, so I thought why not Barry? Hahaha. He iz teh gr8test profitt evaa! 😛

Alloho minokhoun,
Andrew
Yeah, I know it’s Barry. It’s just that he looks a bit like Jessica Holmes doing Anne Murray.

** Well, I know Joseph Smith claimed he was able to do what Jesus couldn’t (keep his Church together.)**

Is that why the Mormonoid movement split over polygamy and who was to be the head of the Church when Joseph Smith died?
**

MORMONOID**…

I like the term…😃

Pro-tip: Don’t link yourself to Jesus - like Joseph Smith and Mohammed did - unless you want to be ridculed as a prophet. Just throwing that out there.

I think Jesus Barabas would be considered a “great” prophet. He made the same claims as Jesus Christ - Son of God, coming Messiah - but preached a different gosepl: He preached a violent revolution against the Roman Empire and a forceful restoration of the Kingdom of Israel, whereas Jesus preached repetance and salvation. Barabas’ gospel was exactly what the Jews were looking for at the time, so they chose to free Barabas over Christ on the Passover.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the FINAL Prophet, the SEAL of all the Prophets. He is the collective representation of all 124.000 (or so) Prophets to have been sent to this world. In other words he is the perfection of humanity in every way.

Michael H. Hart wrote a book on the 100 most influential men of all time and obviously chose Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as number 1

I say “obviously” because if you were to study his life (forgetting the religious aspect for a moment) one cannot be anything but amazed.

👍

Hamza,

Jesus said: “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. Lo, I have told you beforehand” (Matt. 24:24-25).

Muhammed is a false prophet. Jesus warned us ahead of time.

And we Catholics believe Jesus Christ, the new Adam, is the perfect man, for He did not sin, and His humanity was the image of the Divinity, and He was ever united to God (the Hypostatic Union). This is what we Catholics believe to be the truth, but we respect your beliefs too. 🙂

Indeed there have been many false Prophets in the past, no doubt, but if you study the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) there is NO WAY that he is false. The miracles, his statements, his prophecies, his character, his behaviour, his legacy, all of which are simply amazing.

If you really take the timeout to learn you will amazed

You’re making statements that mean nothing! Your own scriptures and writings show that Muhammad’s character was nothing to boast about! Indeed they show he could never have been a prophet of God!

Muslims claim to worship only Allah, but they way they talk about Muhammad sounds more like they worship him!

Hamza,

I came from Iraq. I am a descendant of the ancient people of Iraq, the Aramaic-speaking Chaldeans and Assyrians. My Christian people suffered for a long time under the yoke of Islam, and continue to suffer today in Iraq at the hands of Muslims. I reject Muhammed as a false prophet, and I reject those teachings in Islam that are false, such as, for example your teaching that Jesus is not the Son of God.

The Aramaic word that Jesus is using is: Mnahmana. A good English translation of this Aramaic word is: Comforter. Other similar English words can also be used in a translation.

In Greek, it is rendered as: Parakletos (Paraclete), and again, it can mean Comforter, Counselor, Helper, etc. It shows up in John 15:26, which is what the Passion movie is referencing.

Jesus is referring to the Holy Spirit as the Comforter that Christ will send from the Father. The Holy Spirit is the One who comforts us, counsels us, and makes us holy. This verse in John is a Trinitarian verse, in that, it mentions the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus is not referring to Muhammed in this verse.

Again, I reject Muhammed as a false prophet, and I take Jesus’ warning about false prophets as being applicable to Muhammad and to all the false prophets who reject the true teaching of Christianity that Jesus is the Son of God the Father.

God bless,

Rony

His teachings and behavior were amazing indeed, Hamza. How anybody takes him for a true prophet is evidence of the power of darkness imo.

According to his own words in the Quran, and the testament of his followers about him in the Hadith, he was the opposite of Jesus.

Jesus was not a:
  1. Slave trader
  2. Brigand
  3. Kidnapper
  4. Extortionist
  5. Torturer
  6. Oath breaker
  7. Pedophile
Need I go on…

Mahommad’s behavior at Huddabaiya was amazing all right. First he made a peace treaty with the Jews. Then he guaranteed them safe passage. When they came into his protection, he had the men and boys beheaded in front of their horrified wives, mothers, sisters, daughters. Then he ordered the general rape of the women and girls. Then he had the traumatized victims sold into slavery.

Yasser Arafat compared the Oslo treaty with the treaty of Huddabaiya. That’s the only type of “peace agreement” that the Israelis or any other infidels can expect from “good” Muslims, ie ones who follow the example of the prophet.

He bids fair to being the best canditate for the Antichrist, being the exact opposite of Christ, and claiming to be the final revelation.

Death Cult = Religion of Peace
Submission = Peace
Truth = Lying
Mercy = Cruelty
Protection = Subugation

Of course there are lots of good Muslims, but Mahommad was not one of them.

There were and are good Muslims for the same reason there were good Nazis, eg Schindler and John Rabe.

By good Muslim I mean a Muslim who is a good person, or at least is on the side of the Angels, trying to do good. I don’t mean the other meaning of “good” Muslim, one who follows the appalling example of Mahommad himself. By that definition, all peaceful and peace loving Muslims are “bad”.

Mahommad initially, to his credit, thought he was possessed by an evil spirit. If he was inspired by God, we would expect him to become a good man, and put his robbing, killing, and enslaving days behind him. Instead he became more merciless and terrible.

Of course I could be deluded, and the exthortation to make war, to oppress, to cut off the right hand and the opposite foot, to crucify, to behead, could mean something else.

In that case, perhaps you could enlighten us on the mercy of Islam, and turn us away from the darkness that is Christianity and the lesser prophet that is Jesus.

/rant. Sorry about the sensitivities of Muslims, but if the read their own Quran and Haditha with any understanding, I believe millions of them would leave Islam en masse. I also believe that Christians should read the same scriptures, and see for themselves what is in store for us, if the almost 1400 year war against us unbelievers in Dar al Harb is finally won.

If this gets me banned, then we unbelievers in the “Land of War/Chaos” have already lost.

You are talikng about two different treaties, both were not broken by the Muslims. The treaty of Hudabaya was broken by the idolitors of Mecca and the second by the Jews of Madina.

The Jews of Madina entered into a treaty where the agreed to defend Madina if it came under attack. When the largest army ever assembled in Arabia was about to attack Madina the Jews actually broke rank and joined the enemy.

There was no battle in the end but for their deception, lies and treachery, they faced punishment. Despite what you want to believe, the fact is that Sa’ad bin Mu’ath (their former Jewish leader) was chosen by the Jews themselves to pass judgement over them. All of them agreed with his judgement because they felt that because he was their former respected leader, he would should favour them.

It was Sa’ad Bin Mu’ath himself who judged that all men of fighting age should be executed - not the Prophet

As for the rest of your false claims, they are baseless and complete lies and do not have the time to address all of them.

Your cliam that Jesus (pbuh) was reffering to the Holy Spirit is simply wrong. According to the Aramaic Bible Society, the word “Paraclete” back then meant the “Praised One”. Muhammad’s name was “Ahmed”. Both Muhammad and Ahmed in Arabic mean “The Honored One” or the “Praised One”.

Jesus spoke Palestinian Aramaic, not Greek so if we look to the Hebrew and Aramaic scriptures. According to the present day Aramaic scriptures, the word for Muhammad would read “Paraqleyta” or “Paraklytos” in Greek and “Menahem” in Hebrew!

In the ancient Aramaic scriptures, before these changes, it read “Ahmad,” then Munahammana" which is the Aramaic/Syriac rendering for the name “Muhammad.” These are names, not simply words, and they mean “Comforter” or “Muhammad” in Arabic.

There is no Aramaic dictionary where you’ll find the word “Paraqleyta” because there is no such word in that language. Therefore, two questions are asked:

1.Why was “Periklytos” changed to “Paraklytos”?

2.Why was Ahmad changed to “Munahammana” and then to “Paraqleyta?”

Hamza,

Yes, Jesus was referring to the Holy Spirit. This is the traditional interpretation on this passage of our Christian Scriptures, in particular, the Christian Gospel of John. Your claim that Jesus was referring to Muhammed is false. Our Christian Scripture is referring to the Holy Spirit in this verse, as we read:

“But when the Counselor comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness to me” (John 15:26).

“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you” (John 14:26).

You can also read the English translation of the Syriac Peshitta done by Lamsa, which also mentions the Spirit of truth in John 15:26, and Holy Spirit in John 14:26.

Paraclete means: An advocate, intercessor, comforter. Look here (Column on left). The word for praise in Aramaic is: Hallel, from which we get Halleluyah (Praise the Lord). Look here (Column on left).

Yes, Muhammed has the word praise in its meaning, just like the Arabic word that Christians and Muslims use to praise God, when we say in Arabic: Al hamdu lillah. But Muhammed or Ahmad or Praise is not the word uttered by Jesus in Aramaic. The Aramaic word: Mnahmana is different from the Arabic word: Hamd (praise).
Yes, Jesus spoke Aramaic, not Greek. Aramaic is what my Chaldean Catholic Church speaks officially, liturgically, and as a common traditional day to day language of my Assyrian-Chaldean people of Iraq. We speak a dialect of Aramaic known in scholarship as “Eastern Syriac”, that is very close to the Palestinian Aramaic of Jesus.

There is no term or name of Muhammed in the Aramaic Scriptures of my Church and the other Aramaic-speaking Apostolic Churches. In John 15:26 and 14:26, you get the Paraqleta showing up, but this is the transliteration of the Greek translation of the Aramaic Mnahmana that I mentioned earlier as being the Holy Spirit. By tradtion, we use both Mnahmana, the Aramaic word, and Paraqleta, a transliterated loan word from the Greek Parakletos, which is a translation of Mnahmana. Here is Paraqleta in the two verses in question:

John 14:26

In Arabic, you get the Arabic term Al Mu’zay (translation) or Al Baraqleedt (transliteration). Here is Al Mu’zay of John 14:26:

واما المعزي الروح القدس الذي سيرسله الآب باسمي فهو يعلّمكم كل شيء ويذكركم بكل ما قلته لكم
In the ancient Aramaic scriptures, before these changes, it read “Ahmad,” then Munahammana" which is the Aramaic/Syriac rendering for the name “Muhammad.” These are names, not simply words, and they mean “Comforter” or “Muhammad” in Arabic.
There is no and never was any Aramaic Scriptures that reads Ahmad in the verses in question. Mnahmana is not the Aramaic/Syriac rendering for the name Muhammad or Ahmad. Mnahmana is an Aramaic term that means Comforter, and was assigned to the Holy Spirit by Jesus. Muhammed or Ahmad has the root word for praise, which is a different word from Mnahmana.
There is no Aramaic dictionary where you’ll find the word “Paraqleyta” because there is no such word in that language.
Paraqleta or Paraqleyta is a transliteration in Aramaic (Syriac) of the Greek word Parakletos. It is not an original Aramaic word. Check again the dictionary that I linked above here.

When the Aramaic words of Jesus were translated into Greek and committed to writing in the Gospel of John, Mnahmana was translated into Parakletos. A later Syriac translation of the Gospel of John, which has become known as the Peshitta (Peshitto), left the Greek word Parakletos in place, but transliterated it as Paraqleta.

Continued…
Therefore, two questions are asked:
1.Why was “Periklytos” changed to “Paraklytos”?
2.Why was Ahmad changed to “Munahammana” and then to “Paraqleyta?”
  1. For the same reason as few other Greek words were left transliterated, rather than translated, in the Aramaic (Syriac) Scriptures. For example, there are a few verses that render Simon the Apostle’s new name as Pudtros, rather than Kepa, whereas other verses of his name do infact keep intact the original Aramaic new name of Kepa. My guess is that the early Aramaic Christian communities wanted to show their communion and solidarity with the Greek Christians by having some Greek words left into the Aramaic Scriptures as transliterated, rather than translated.
  2. Mnahmana does not come from Ahmad. There is no proof that Mnahmana comes from Ahmad. Again, these are two different words. But, Mnahmana was translated into Parakletos to satisfy the Greek-speaking communities, and it was transliterated back into Paraqleta to give both Aramaic and Greek speakers some common words to maintain their communion and communication with each other.
God bless,

Rony

Hamza,

I also want to point out that the Hebrew word Menahem, which also means comforter and is related to the Syriac Aramaic Mnahmana, is likewise not the origin of the name Muhammed or Ahmad.

The person Menahem shows up in the Second Book of Kings.

God bless,

Rony

mohammed seems to claim to be above all other prophets. joe smith didn’t accept Jesus as being one in substance with the Father. this is also true of this manalo character and the founder of the JWs.

islam brings much suffering where ever it is spread.
As for the rest of your false claims, they are baseless and complete lies and do not have the time to address all of them.
typical excuse. if you would take an objective look at the facts, there is no way you can translate paraclyte as mohammed.
Paraclete comes from the Koine Greek word παράκλητος (paráklētos, “one who consoles, one who intercedes on our behalf, a comforter or an advocate”).[1] It may reflect a translation of the Hebrew word מְנַחֵם‎ (mənaḥḥēm “comforter”).

You are talikng about two different treaties, both were not broken by the Muslims. The treaty of Hudabaya was broken by the idolitors of Mecca and the second by the Jews of Madina.
Calling people “idolaters” because they wouldn’t join Mahommad’s band of murderers doesn’t excuse murder and rape. You don’t deny that the men and boys were murdered, the women and girls raped, sold into slavery.
As for the rest of your false claims, they are baseless and complete lies and do not have the time to address all of them.
You don’t have time because you can’t deny Islam’s own “holy” writings that tell us Mahommad was a slave-trader, robber, murderer, extortionist, etc.

Islam appears to be the perfect inversion of truth.

Thus a girl who is raped “dishonors” her family. She is murdered by her male family members in an “honor” killing. She supposedly goes to hell. Her murderers supposedly go to heaven, as if. That is the Islamic idea of carrying out the “mercy” of Allah. And it is Islam’s appalling idea of God’s justice.

Victim = Guilty
Perpetrator = Just

If that was actually the will of Allah, then Allah is the perfect inversion of a merciful God.

I can see how that philosophy appealed to rapists and brigands in the 7th century. No wonder Mahommad collected a great army of cut-throats. The Vikings and Franks were the epitome of gentlemen by comparison.

Either Muslims actually try to worship God, but have the most inverted idea of what He is about, because of Mahommad’s utterly debased idea of God revealed in the Quran( Allah as the alter-ego of Mahommad), or they worship Evil. I’ll try to be charitable and assume the former.

|f you can show me that all the many kill and hate verses are abrogated by the few merciful verses in the Quran, I might revise my opinion. Likewise if you can show that the Hadiths were written down much later than Mahommad’s own time, and extolled murder, lying, rape, slavery, etc because of the failings of Mahommad’s followers, and not the prophet himself, then I might be prepared to cut him some slack.

But the Quran was supposed to be whispered by the angel to Mahommad directly from God…except the Satanic verses of course. I suspect the latter might make up the bulk of the revelation. And what his followers said about him in the Hadiths are perfectly in keeping with the character of Mahommad revealed in the Quran.

I am a muslim

A- Critianism is genocides larger foreman in the history. They were the crossed , inquisitions, two world wars , cold war , colonizations , whole destruction of peoples: Maias , inca , aztec , aborigenes(australia) and etc , atomic bomb e etc . Only in america colonization it calculates that they were killed 50 million people , if sum all the deads that the christianity did until the devil frightens . Me need not post here the extracts of the old-testament and of the new-testament where God sends killer people. In the old-testament God authority kill women , children and tie calves .In the new testament improves however Jesus is clear to when telling that it did not come to bring peace put the fire and the sword , Jesus enters the temple and destroys for propiety alienates and attacks salesmen with a wooden piece , based herein and in the old testament church killed million people along time. In the apocalypse Jesus appears and promises to murder all other than creem in him, promises to kill 1/3 of the land population ! HAHAHAHAHAHA and etc.

B- Mohammad is not a “prophet”. The term prophet is a badly made translation Arab coming . Mohammad also is rasul is a “messenger” . Second God reveals us, from time to time God sends people with a consecrated book, a law specifies that it will be replaced in the future , inclusive for propy law islamic had been replaced when Jesus come back. They thus were sent : Abraão , buda , krisnah , zoroastro Moises , davi , Jesus and mohammad.

Therefore Joseph simith is a prophet in the western understanding more not islamic , josehp Smith is as San Francisco de Assis , yatiz Rabin or ayatollah komeini , they are believing people inside a religion , they cannot be compared with zoroastro , mohammad , Jesus and another , Smith did not create a religion did not influence governments did not modify for history human did not bring a calendar and etc , he created a christianity sect that is considered Christian and lives Christ’s Doctrine, just this, that is validates and God in the report in alquran that yes : he sends people still into of the religions to help them.

C- We Muslim do not follow for mohammad , we follow for God . In islam God reveals us that it finished time of the middlemen , now are you and God just , all the worship , devotion should be only done for God and you takes over the paper and the responsibility in the world of being worshipper for God without middlemen . Only should pray for God.

D- Mohamamd was a person pacifies and accomplished its mission , he was not a warrior , in spite to of being sent by God to a warriors’ people, that buried lives the daughter because it wanted a son. Mohammad is not :
  1. Slave trader ( lie )
  2. Brigand (lie)
  3. Kidnapper (lie )
  4. Extortionist (lie)
  5. Torturer (lie)
  6. Oath breaker (lie)
  7. Pedophile (lie)
1 - mohammad was a honest dealer, to the point of win the nickname of " honrrável" exactly because he turned honesty reference
2- Mohammad never robbed anybody and created laws prohibiting the theft, sending the prision thieves . The law islamic has severe laws to who robs and even who it wants menace for propiedade alienates.
3- Mohammad never Kidnapper anybody and was the first man in the world to create laws for war prisoners , in the sense of treating them very same being enemies . God brings us in mohammad specific laws of cares for war and peace to be accomplished, never before mohamamd other messenger had talked in this, for this reason when Christian , buddhists and hindu did prisoners they or killed them, or they raped them because did not have laws. In mohammad God brought laws for all life things , inclusive to treat well and to liberate the war prisoner.
4- Islam prohibits extortionist .Beyond of this prohibits all that it has relation with him , example : juros in negocios . God prohibited us juros and the usury because it also considers Extortionist
5- Islam was the first world action to prohibit the torture . This occurred because mohammad was tortured and lots of initial Mussulmen also were tortured by the heathens , then when the heathens were prisoners, God sent a message for mohammad prohibiting the torture .
6- Other lie. Islam was the first action in the land to fasten treaties as peace form. According to mohammad the agreements and treaties are the way for the nations peace and the wars end. Mohammad and the Mussulmen never broke no treaty , to the thwart several treaties were broken by the heathens.
7- Mohammad was never Pedophile . This myth arose recently after the USA were defeated in Irak’s War and Afghanistan and Israel lost in the libano and palestine . Is born of the myth that aisha ultimate mohammad wife would have been a child . Appeared with a hadith 1000 years after mohammad where aisha(and not mohammad) would have told that still was child , the problem is that beyond of being 1000 years then they are several hadits that appear .On their one aisha tells that it married before being born, in other she tells that I had 6 years, in other 9 years , in other 15 years , in other 19 years and in other 23 years .For midia western seized of this to attack for God and to your messenger. Doing historical calculations(because mohammad different from Jesus and buda , it is a historical illustration) it is known that less than 16 years aisha could not have to the if marry with mohammad, then the minimum age that she would have belongs to 16 years, thence upwards.

obs:Mohammad recovered Jesus historical and destroyed Jesus logos that is similar to horus , miters , Osiris and other human gods , the Christian transformed Jesus in a God sun invictus similar to of the myths heathens, for this reason your birth was put in 25 of December , the solstice day and of the birth of several other human gods as miters, horus and etc.

Stay with God

Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) prophesied and foretold the coming of Muhammad (peace be upon him). According to the New Testament, Jesus called him “Paraclete” (The Comforter). Paraclete is the Greek translation of the Hebrew word מנחם (MenaHem). מנחם as an adjective means “consoler, comforter”. Now you might try to counterclaim that this doesn’t mention Muhammad by name. However, it does mention him by his title. The name MuHammad itself means “Praiseworthy”.

מנחם is not only a name, but it is also an adjective in Hebrew and can also be turned into a verb.

It’s the same way with the prophecies of Jesus in the Old Testament. None of the prophecies mention his actual name in Hebrew ישוע (Yeshua’), but doesn’t it clearly refer to him? The virgin miracle birth of Jesus Christ is foretold in the Old Testament, yet it doesn’t refer to him by name - rather it calls him by the title עמנואל (‘Immanuel) which means “God is with us”. Yeshua’, on the other hand, comes from the name Yehoshu’a which means “YHWH (God) is Salvation”. Immanuel and Jesus are two different names with two different meanings, but it is obviously still a clear prophecy. Paraclete and Muhammad are two different names with two different meanings, but it is obviously still a clear prophecy.

לָכֵן יִתֵּן אֲדֹנָי הוּא, לָכֶם–אוֹת: הִנֵּה הָעַלְמָה, הָרָה וְיֹלֶדֶת בֵּן, וְקָרָאת שְׁמוֹ, עִמָּנוּ אֵל

"Assuredly, my Lord will give you a sign of His own accord! Look, the young woman is with child and about to give birth to a son. Let her name him Immanuel."
[Isaiah 7:14]

Now, the following Verse proves that the Israelites were awaiting not only Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), but also the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

This is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent to him priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.” They asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” And he said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.”
[John 1:19-21]

Jesus (peace be upon him) himself says:

**“When the Paraclete comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.”
[John 15:26]

“But the Paraclete, the holy spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”
[John 14:26]**

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) fulfilled all of these. He testified that Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) was the Messiah born from the Virgin Mary and that he was a true Prophet of God sent to the Children of Israel. He taught us the true story of the life of Jesus and reminded us of his sayings and teachings. What he denied was the false doctrines and myths perpetrated by the Pharisees and pagans who infiltrated and tried to destroy Jesus’ true teachings from within. These Verses also call Muhammad (peace be upon him) the “Spirit of Truth”. The Prophet Muhammad was given the titles “As-Sadiq” (The Truthful) and “Al-Amin” (The Trustworthy) by his people. Finally, the Prophet Muhammad taught all things and God completed and perfected our religion.

God says in the Qur’an:
**
“This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.”
[5:3]**

Why are you so eager to find Muhammad in a “corrupt” book? is that all what Allah could do to his beloved prophet?
