So what evidence would you want? What do you want me to prove? If those are the best evidence you can provide, you’re going to need them…

I want you to use evidence that is not miraculous. So what evidence would you want? What do you want me to prove?
Evidence for God that is not miraculous… Hmmmmm.I want you to use evidence that is not miraculous.
Your a good sport, and I admire and respect your faith… Sadly, faith is a gift that I don’t expect to receive.Evidence for God that is not miraculous… Hmmmmm.
Well, proofs for God are not exactly evidence, but they prove His existence.
As for actual empirical evidence… Well I think you got me beat.![]()
Thank you.Your a good sport, and I admire and respect your faith… Sadly, faith is a gift that I don’t expect to receive.
I walk a different path. It takes all sorts of people to make a world. Some of them have to be like you and some of them have to be like me. Perhaps one day someone will bridge the gap between the subjective and objective worlds, but I don’t think it will be in my lifetime…Thank you.
Now I wouldn’t give up on faith so easily my friend. I know that as an atheist you don’t believe in the power of prayer, but I suggest it anyway. After all, you have everything to gain and absolutely nothing at all to lose. Pray for one month straight and see if God talks back.(you don’t even have to visit a church, you can pray in your room, your car, wherever!) I bet He will.
By praying for a month, you are not only forming a habit, you are also changing your life. Faith is a gift from God, a gift He will give to you if you earnestly ask for it. I say give it a shot, and if you’re in the same spot in a month or so, then hey at least you tried right?
Most importantly, don’t give up.![]()
Personally, I think no-one has to be like anything, but stick with your faith if you like. I’m beginning to wonder if any of us are truly capable of objectivity - I see precious little in our current cultures, and most scarely of all, little recognition that such is the case. Bring back post-modernism! It was better than this post-post-modern return to the deluded horrors of the early part of the previous modernist centuryI walk a different path. It takes all sorts of people to make a world. Some of them have to be like you and some of them have to be like me. Science can not disprove infinite, nor can it disprove “God.” Your concept of what “God” truly is, is well, quite amusing. If science can prove that nothing can be infinite, in NO way stands to reason that neither can “God,” because like you said, there was a time before the universe, which can obviously not be known as you have said.I thought we had already agreed that science cannot prove that. Science cannot prove what is outside the Universe or before the Universe, so whether infinity lies outside is not a scientific question. If science can prove that nothing can be infinite, then it stands to reason that neither can God.
Again, (maybe I am interpreting your post incorrectly) but it seems like you are not grasping the concept of what “God” truly is. You are thinking of “God” as some person. It is almost useless for me to further explain “God,” in time you will understand it, perhaps not this life or the next, but you will indeed understand it as your spirits unfold. So why does God get an exemption? Why can God be infinite but nothing else can? Would it be because God doesn’t exist in reality either? Then we agree on something.
I am still Atheist in a way, because I do not acknowledge any “God” that religions now a day teach.Lemondiesel:
Weren’t you just recently an athiest? What made you change?
Ahhhhhh so you’re more of a Thomas Jefferson theist or Anthony Flew type. Gottcha!I am still Atheist in a way, because I do not acknowledge any “God” that religions now a day teach.
I have now focused on my meditation towards Ancient Egyptian meditation rituals, which priests and pharaohs were the only ones who processed this knowledge, until later time of course.
Rather, maybe it is you who is merely scratching the surfaceFor example, look at how many people thing “God” is a who. This is sooooooo far from what “God” is, and many of you are only scratching the surface to really understanding “God.”
I posted just a few pictures on my profile of the meditation rituals I use, which are very powerfulAhhhhhh so you’re more of a Thomas Jefferson theist or Anthony Flew type. Gottcha!![]()
Well, sounds entertaining at least-good luck with them!I posted just a few pictures on my profile of the meditation rituals I use, which are very powerful
That is only the beginning to my belief, its up to others to research more of course![]()

By the time I was four years old, I realized that the idea of a divine father figure was an absurd fantasy based on precisely nothing. I don’t need science to disprove God, I only need to listen to the hackneyed self contradictory nonsense routinely spouted by God’s various fan clubs.Science can not disprove infinite, nor can it disprove “God.” Your concept of what “God” truly is, is well, quite amusing. Remember friends, We do not create new knowledge, we only evolve to be able to understand it.
May I ask this in this thread? because well, I find it very relevant to this topic.
It would be intellectually irresponsible to be definitive on a construct that you have already admitted you don’t understand. If we have intelligence and consciousness, do you think that is because our brain creates it? Or is it much more logical to think that intelligence/consciousness exists within the universe and that we have a semi-concentrated form of it within us.
Funny. I only need to listen to the hackeneyed self contradictory nonsense spouted by materialistic nutters to see through their sad delusions. All God has to do to make me believe in him is come down here and break a couple of the immutable laws of physics. I’ll be all ears after that.

I’m proving it on another thread right now?Funny. I only need to listen to the hackeneyed self contradictory nonsense spouted by materialistic nutters to see through their sad delusions. Funny that, isn’t it?
If God comes down and breaks a few ‘immutable’ rules of physics, some member of the faithful scientismic just ‘progresses’ our glorious understandingrotfl
of those rules to convince the gullible the rules aren’t broken at all

lol, I thought a lot of things were rubbish when I was four years old. For an example, I would have thought getting married to someone and living for someone else was pretty stupid. But I can safely tell you that I was being stupid then. So… maybe you just decided on something in a stupid fashion and still trying to hold on to it stubbornlyBy the time I was four years old, I realized that the idea of a divine father figure was an absurd fantasy based on precisely nothing.
Technically he did that once by sending his only son. If he did that again, you would just rationalize to convince yourself that he is not God. There are miracles that happen to people all the time. And as you are thinking right now, oh those are just people being fooled etc etc. I think the point is, for someone not biased or intellectually incapacitated due to pride or something, there is enough evidence to believe. If you won’t believe with what is available, you most likely won’t anyways. All God has to do to make me believe in him is come down here and break a couple of the immutable laws of physics. I’ll be all ears after that.
The ‘Bible God’ is a literary creation that has gone through numerous revisions and character developments.I know for the big minds out there (you know who you are!) this is an easy question to answer. I’ve really been doing some research on this question and I’ve found some really great answers
but I still don’t get it
Could someone here explain to me please (in human terms) why God is uncreated?
Thanks a lot!

This is not my discussion, but I would just like to point out the gaping hole in your logic. The ‘Bible God’ is a literary creation that has gone through numerous revisions and character developments.
Do you think He actually exists outside of the Book and the human imagination?![]()
