Iād definitely echo the comments above about getting yourself a copy of the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church - you can get them from any Catholic bookshop or order yourself a copy online for a few dollars. It sets out the Churchās teachings in a very concise format and is a lot less daunting than the āfullā text of the Catechism, which you can then graduate to if you feel comfortable.

Personally, Iād also recommend - if you havenāt already done so! - that you try and get a Catholic Bible (even if itās just to read in secret at this stage!) rather than relying on your grandmotherās JW version. Again, just personally, Iāve found it a great comfort being able to turn to the Bible at any time, especially in the middle of the night!
