Who do I contact if I want to convert to Catholicism?

Iā€™d definitely echo the comments above about getting yourself a copy of the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church - you can get them from any Catholic bookshop or order yourself a copy online for a few dollars. It sets out the Churchā€™s teachings in a very concise format and is a lot less daunting than the ā€œfullā€ text of the Catechism, which you can then graduate to if you feel comfortable.

The Compendium is also available free online from the Vatican website:

Personally, Iā€™d also recommend - if you havenā€™t already done so! - that you try and get a Catholic Bible (even if itā€™s just to read in secret at this stage!) rather than relying on your grandmotherā€™s JW version. Again, just personally, Iā€™ve found it a great comfort being able to turn to the Bible at any time, especially in the middle of the night!
