Who do you think will be the next pope?

Of course I don’t want Pope Francis to die soon, but in the last few days I asked myself this question and I’d like to hear some thoughts. What do you think? And who would you like to see as the next Vicar of Christ?

According to some Catholic websites there is a chance the next Pope will be Trump…, 🤣 🤣

Well, you know what they say: “he who goes in the conclave the pope comes out a cardinal”

Many have speculated that Pope Francis might be favorable of Cardinal Tagle, but that is just speculation and if I’m honest I don’t know a lot about him.
 
For some reason I have a feeling that Cardinal Tagle will be the next Pope.
 
Oh great! 😁 I thought I’d read that before, but maybe it was Cardinal Arinze (another great Cardinal).

Then why speculate on it? Even though you say you don’t want him to die, it somehow gives the appearance that you are already thinking ahead for some reason.

Speculation is pointless as well. No one reading this will have any say in the decision, so it doesn’t matter. We will get who is chosen and that’s is that.

How is that even possible?

Are the skies gonna open and will fire rain down as Saint Peter steps into the Vatican? Sounds silly to me lol. I’ve never read that in the Bible. Maybe I’m missing something… but nah, it’s not the end of the world.

People said “The world is ending!” during WW1 and WW2. It didn’t. Then you have people predicting the end of the world - trust me, no one looks more foolish than these people. They even revise their predictions! (Uhhh yeah, so the world didn’t end in 2012 like I predicted, but… lemme pick a random year… 2020!! YEAHHHH BELIEVE ME NOWWWW!)
How dare they! If they’re so confident, they get one shot at it. Just proves that they know nothing. I never believe such apocalyptic events predicted by men, they sound stupid. 😂

Chill, keep trying to live a holy life and keep chugging along 🙂.

Note the word IF

I have no clue whats going to happen if and when there is a new pope…just was being playful with the widely dispersed so called “revelation” of the popes and the coming end times…

It will happen when God allows it to happen, and nothing we can do will delay nor stop it…
 
Ultimately, these posts are rarely about who people THINK will be the next pope, but who people WANT to become the next pope. While in the lifetimes of most of us there have been a couple of easy guesses (Montini, Ratzinger), most have been surprises.

Haha, I do understand that you’re being playful. And yes, who are we to question God’s timing? Definitely understand where you’re coming from.
