are you sure the context of this verse you mention covers her entirely or was it to make a specific point about equality of all humanity? again, there is a lot that can be drawn from this verse, and i am not qualified to point them out to you. to look at such verses at the surface level is to keep your faith at the same level as well, at the surface.
it is not my job to prove her significance to you. there is plenty of material out there, much of which is undeniable. you can start with my favorite, that which proves that the Blessed Virgin Mary is without a doubt, a type of new Ark of the Covenant. read the evidence and tell me if Luke did not intentionally want us to draw this conclusion about her, which would make her just a tad more special than other people.

short answer - you simply cannot deny this. at least to me it is the most in your face truth i have learned so far. i think that if protestants were aware of this they might be a little more open to seeing Our Lady in a different light. and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. pax.
