Who hates Mary?

The reason I know they aren’t right is because what the apparitions say is just enough truth to suck people in…but then say things that contradict Scripture. The skin of the truth stuffed with a lie.

I don’t belive you are familar with St. Bridget. St. Bridget was known as the bride of Christ. Christ himself came to her and told her that she would be his bride and he would always be with her.

So I suppose this is demonic as well?

“I received 5480 blows on my body. If you wish to honor them in some way, say 15 Our fathers and 15 Hail Marys with the follow prayers ( which he taught her) for a whole year. When the year is up, you will have honored each one of my wounds” Christ to St. Bridget.

He also made 15 promises to her, and to all who recieted the prayers he gave her, number 8 of which is this
-Before his death I shall come with my dearest beloved Mother.

number 16 is this
-He will obtain all he asks for from God and the Blessed Virgin.

“I have called myself the Immaculate Conception. To you I call myself Mother of the Sorrowful Heart. This title willed by my son is dear to me above all others. According as it is spread everywhere, there will be granted graces of mercy, spirtual renewal and salvation.” Our Lady to Berthe Petit

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy was also instutited by Christ. He told Sister Faustina the following;
"First of all you will say one OUR FATHER, one HAIL MARY, and one APOSTLES’ CREED. Then, on the Our Father beads say these words:
“Eternal father, I offer thee the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Thy most beloved son and our lord and savior Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and the sins of the whole world.”
On the Hail Mary beads say the following words:
“For the sake of his sorrowful Passion have mercy on us and the whole world.”
In conclusion say three times these words:
“Holy God, Holy mighty one, Holy immortal one, have mercy on us and on the whole world.”

You singled out “Catholics” as having a different definition of the word “prayer” when in fact, it’s Protestants who have a different definition of prayer from the rest of the entire world.

Our definition always existed.

Yours was whittled down to your particular sect (note, some Protestants pray to Mary especially Martin Luther, Calvin, Zwigli, The Reformers, etc…).

Your definition of prayer is limited to a few sects of Protestantism. You are in fact in the minority of Christianity. And why is it important to point this out?

Because it is not the “norm” to “not” pray to Mary, but for Christians is “abnormal”.

No insult…just fact.

How the world (and 85% of Christianity) define pray:

Of course, you’re entitled to ignore definition # 4 and treat them like the Deuterocanonical Books have been treated by non-Catholic Christians when choosing how you want to worship, but don’t tell me that we define it differently…you are the one who defines it uniquely to “one” definition refusing to accept it as the world and as the overwhelming amount of The Christian Body accept it.

Ultimately, if it pleases God that all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men, then so be it. Let’s please Him.

I singled out no one, I simply stated they are different and that that hinders dialog.

I am a Catholic, but I do not say the Rosary. I prefer the Divine Mercy Chaplet. It’s just my personal preference. Everyone has his/her own preferences for prayer, whether Catholic or Protestant.

AFAIK, there is nothing in the Catechism or Bible that says we must pray only specific prayers. We are required to pray, but the choice of prayers is up to us.
