the original rerelease Link’s awakening dx is my favorite Zelda. I’m waiting for my SO to come over before I open it I got them to play a little bit of Alttp. I’m still trying to finish final fantasy adventure. I have been playing it for like 20 years I just dont have the patience. also working on FFX but I might delete it it’s taking up my whole sd card. also everyone is going nuts over ffviii remaster. I’ve already played it on psx psp and android emu several times. but if you havent played it its last really good game in the series imho. for open world game I suggest secret of mana. it is still kinda linear though

I haven’t read every single post in this thread, so maybe it’s been brought up to you already, but Red Dead Redemption 2 is a great current open-world game. The story is outstanding and the open world aspect flows seamlessly along with it.

yeah, but the file size is crazy… do you have any suggestions for smaller ones, like sleeping dogs (i really love that game, though i haven’t finished it yet) ?

btw, for FPS (such as Crysis series or Titan Falls 2) do you have any recommendations for any latest games?

What kind of strategy? Does it have to be top down war games like Starcraft 2, or do card games and puzzle games count? Slay the Spire is good

My Summer Car (a car building simulation. . . . . etc)

Sure, okay, some kind of alternative entertainment to try out, I was thinking…

The Finnish developer: "I am making this game because this game needs to be made. This is not
made because this is fun game, but because it is NOT!"

🤨

We’re cutting it down to the wire here! 13 days since the last post. We almost lost it. 😱

Anyone checking out Apple Arcade? These aren’t serious gamer games but I’ve been impressed with the quality and fun factor of many of them!

The new Frogger is cute and Hot Lava got me distracted for two hours.😂😂

I’m playing Skyrim… again… this time on my Switch… and it is wonderful. The pick up and play aspect of it makes it my favorite version, even if I can’t have all the pretty mods I love (or the house mod I made, which I really miss).

Mainly I’m just waiting for Pokemon to come out. I’m also planning to pick up Luigi’s Mansion 3 eventually, as well as the Iceborn expansion for Monster Hunter World. The only other thing I’m actively waiting for is the next Animal Crossing.

Same regarding Skyrim. It’s great to be able to just pick it up as I have time.

I’m waiting for Outer Worlds to come out Friday.

Do it.

The Switch is an amazing console. It went from being a console I picked up mainly for Breath of the Wild and Mario, to hands down my favorite console. I have a decent catalog of games, and it’s the first console I’ve built a digital library on simply because it’s so easy to just pick up and play. As disappointed as I was in teh Bloodstained version that came out on it, that’s been my only real flop so far. (Thankfully they’re still working hard at fixing it up, so it should be playable in the future. I already played it on PC, and it is amazing, so I plan on replaying it later on the Switch.)
I’m waiting with great anticipation 😬
I know!! I honestly didn’t expect myself to get this excited about it, but after that Nintendo Direct I cannot wait. My wife and I are both going to get it, she loves Animal Crossing to. (We each have a Switch since we were both playing it so much. Also, with Pokemon coming out we didn’t wanting to be fighting over playtime :p)

I’m playing a new build I’ve never played before. I always play mages, so this time around I’m playing sword and shield sneak thief. It’s… different.

I almost always do sneaky archer with some one hand thrown in. But I sometimes do dead is dead competitions with friends and we use a random character generator to determine class and race. It’s led to some really interesting builds and a greater appreciation for other ways of playing.

That sounds fun. Do you just play through the main story, or what? I’m focusing on Thieves Guild right now, got far enough into the companions to become a werewolf. I’m going to do Dawnguard next so I can get the summonable horse.

For the Dead is Dead, we play through the main quest until the dragon encounters are triggered. From there on out, it can be the main quest or side quests. Sometimes we’ll use a randomizer that picks factions for you so those often come next. But being a dead is dead, we often don’t get but so far.

For my regular playthroughs, I tend to just wander. Sometimes I’ll get to High Hrothgar at level 6, sometimes at level 16. Just depends on how distracted I get.
