I like video games. Shooters and racing games are my preferred ones. Been playing them for 35 years now. I’m 49.

I’ve been a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid series. Played all editions since MGS 2 in the Playstation 2, including Portable Ops and Peace Walker. But I think Death Strading is gonna be too weird for me.

I like playing chess against the computer even though I’m not that great a player.

I feel your pain… we have two little ones now so game time is almost non existent. I still have all of my games and occasionally on a Friday night I will just stay up super late and play after the kids go down. I don’t want to introduce games until they are older.

Links Awakening remake is getting released tonight.
I’m excited to play this one as I never played the original (as I never owned a Nintendo handheld).

I’d be more excited if it were $40 instead of $60, though. 😝 It feels odd paying the same for a remake of a 25 year old GameBoy game as for Breath of the Wild.

I may wait on picking it up. Although I did pre-order the amiibo. 😳

that’s sad… looks like that game is pretty good bcoz it’s open world (isn’t it?)

do you have any suggestions for open world games?

I haven’t looked into the game too much (since I don’t have a PS4), but I am pretty sure it is open world. The game kind of intrigues me, too, as it was so well received, but I won’t buy a PS4 just for that. I’m lucky my wife is more or less amenable to me upgrading my Nintendo console every 5 years or so. 😝

I don’t really game on the PC, so my only suggestion for an open world game is Zelda. 🙂

As far as game design goes they had to remake the game from the ground up. It’s not like they spent a few weeks retooling the graphics and ported it. If that was the case it would look like Oracle of Seasons/Ages.

(which by the way if they remake in any way shape or form like this woot woot.)

They also added a lot judging by the size of the map. I played the handheld to death. I know that game inside and out. I can see little things in the trailers like the size of the beach, the layout of the forest north of that. Everything is wider. Not stretched but the distance link has to walk is greater.
