I’ve been playing video games for probably 30 years starting with the Atari. I’ve only ever owned the Nintendo consoles (and the PlayStation 2 because my wife was into Dance Dance Revolution
). I pretty much stick with the main Nintendo franchises: Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong.
My daughter and I just started playing through Zelda: Wind Waker this past weekend. It’s been ten years since I played through it. It’s funny how much I remember about it even after all this time (especially considering I only ever played through it once). When I play through a Zelda game, I waste a lot of time exploring every nook and cranny, though (such that I usually end up with 19 1/2 hearts by the end – unassisted by the internet
). So that probably helped.
