Who is the anti-Christ?

This is a question that has troubled fundamentalists for centuries. They have come up with as many answers as there are fundamentalists. So let’s solve this once and for all. Who do you think the anti-Christ is and why?

“Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist–he denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.” (1 John 2:22-23)
 
Anyone who is opposed to Christ or His Church. There are many anti-Christs. Some are bigger than others. No two are the same.
 
If you are unfortuate to listen to some Fundamentalists you will hear that the Pope is the anti-Christ.

Reciently you have heard that the European Union is the anti-Christ.

Some of the early fathers wrote that heritics were the anti-Christ.

In my opinion, the #1 anti-Christ is Satan and his demons.
 
According to my husband the Microsoft Corporation is the anti-Christ 😉 He says go Linux and Mozilla Firefox. Actually, as much as a love him :love:, he is hopelessly a computer 🤓
 
From what I have heard in Catholic Prophecy, he will be a single man and will rule the entire world for three years.

Jacque Chirac, if he’s single may be a possibility. I’ve heard Vladimir Putin and the rapper Eminem mentioned before.

Eminem truly is brilliant. I would hate to think *he’s *the anti-Christ.

I might think about that one long and hard. But there have been so many good ones mentioned. How about the media? But Kerry came to my mind to quickly.

The Passion of the Christ

The first two are meant to be semi-serious. It seems, though, that the only thing that could possibly unite this world (as I’ve heard the anti-Christ will do) is something like a movie. We seem to be divided irreconcilably in our ideologies.

Come to think of it, Disney and Oprah and most movies have much in common: emotional manipulation (if not rape).

None of the four persons listed is The Anti-Christ but all of them acted to one degree or another in the spirit of anti-Christ. The Anti-Christ of the Book of Revelation is yet to be identified, although he may already exist or may be a 1,000 or 10,000 years in the future.
