Who is the One Jesus said is the ONLY true God?

There has to be some explanation for the “Crazy” part.

People call us “crazy”- especially ME, so I use it as my handle.
Still a JW, not DFed.
I just admit their blunders- unlike most of my bros and sis.

Can you do that regarding YOUR church?

I can, as long as “church” you speak of blundering is the practic of the people within the all true and perfect “church” that cannot blunder. 2 different meanings of church.

Actually if you incude the building “church” then there are 3 aspects of church but thats too much like the Trinity so… better not go there. 🤣

I don’t doubt it…and I say that as someone who has a couple of JW friends. One of them got into it with me once and I had to tell them in no uncertain terms to drop the subject.

You pompous judgment was warned against by Jesus~

Matt 7:1- “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2- For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. 3- Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4- Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5- You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

I took the “Log” out of my eye a long time ago; I encourage you to do the same.
 
Go ahead and keep using the scripture the Catholic Church was guided by the Holy Spirit to accept as canon to try and prove Catholics are wrong.

The Catholic came for Rome in the 4th Century.
The scriptures long before that- and THEY are from God.
If they prove the RCC wrong- which will you listen to?

Try picking up an encyclopedia and researching the history of the Bible instead of JW propaganda.

Or are encyclopedias verbotten for a JW?

I have infinitely more respect for the mainstream LDS than JW.

At least the Mormons believe Jesus is some sort of divine being.

The JW’s just spit on Jesus.
 
Don’t lds also teach that God started out as a man and reached divine status through his own effort or something? I might be conflating two of their beliefs.

God means “the Supreme Being”, not "the Three ‘Co-Equal’ (Co-Supreme) Beings’.
 
John 8:24b

“For if you do not believe that I AM [GOD], you will die in your sins.”

John 8:58

"Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM [GOD].”

Exodus 3:14b

“[God said] this is what you will tell the Israelites: I AM [My Name] has sent me to you.”

God the Fathers Name is I AM.

Jesus identified himself as being One In Being with I AM.

Jesus is of the same substance as the Father - GOD. HE IS.

Exactly as we confess in the Creed: Jesus is consubstantial with the Father.

Yes they do. I just don’t understand why they would do this as it is taking glory away from “the one true God”. It boggles the mind why they dont consider themselves and non-Christians and use the the term Javohaians.
