Yeah, well Tenchi is a classic

But the modern days anime are just too much…

-_-…stuff like that makes me feel bad that I didn’t get access to Cartoon network during it’s 90’s glory years.I swear a lot of that old Toonami block stuff are like quality classics that I feel bad for not watching (b/c 1/2 of the time I dont know what you guys are all talking about when u talk about shows that were on that block).
I mean in Canada I was able to get YTV which mostly showed the Digimon, old Toonami’s big hitters like Sailor moon,Gundam wing & seed,Escaflowne, the DB trilogy, Pokemon, Inuyasha, the transformers unicron series trilogy,Yu-gi-oh as well as more low key stuff like Monster rancher,Duel masters,Power stone,Dinosaur king,B-damanTokyo mew-mew, Beyblade, Zatch bell,Eureka 7 and Ghost in the shell,a bit of Naruto,Detective Conan, Eureka 7,FMA, Bleach during it’s final years to me it’s that early to mid 90’s anime that Americans were lucky to watch that esp.interests me.The graininess, age, art style and dub quality of those shows in english doesn’t bother me much but I just feel* so
out of sync* for not having watched those shows

.It’s b/c there* classics* that I feel like
obligated to watch them !

.
Also it’s not like I have the same *“
watching stamina” I had when I was 8 that kept me watching Pokemon consistently for 5 yrs.Anime is’nt a total novelty and fun thrill ride like it was in those days when it was still new to me,before I learned way more about analyzing fiction and tropes as well as having more patientce for watching stuff. Now I’m starting another program at my community college after having bugged out of my previous one and this time when I’ll go on the computer it’s hopefully to do work and not so much to watch anime (although Heaven knows how much I’d like to be lounging around watching for hours on end without a care in the world :sad_yes

.What’s worse is that I gotta watch my eye health and thus cant really go on screened devices for to long

.
But anyways I’ve heard stuff about Tenchi muyo.I remember seeing an episode dubbed in spanish while in El Salvador and since I’m now an OMGoddess fan I can see a few similarities in the character designs btw those 2 series. As much as I’m curious to see how the original harem anime did it’s thing b4 the depravity of the modern ones something I dont get is all the different series. There are like ones that are more sci-fi-ish and one where Tenchi is like training to be a Shinto priest but the questions that have been bugging me are which one is the oldest and which one did you guys who watched Cartoon network watch?.
*-_- Then agian that
watching stamina I had I guess you can say was partly attributed to the undiagnosed signs of my disorder and having watched so much TV closely is IMO the main reason why I even had to start wearing glasses (darn that radiation)
