Who loves anime here?

Just finished watching ‘The Place promised in our early days’ and, it was great, a really amazing movie. It was reallt touching, unique, original and while I do have some small problems with the plot, it was a really pleasant experience. It’s biggest flaw is all the hard to understand techno babble although I still immediately understood what theyw ere saying so it wasn’t that big of a problem. Do I recommend it? Yes, oh yes! You should see this movie. You can even watch it with children. There is literally only one scene that is objectional, where the female lead is shown undressing but it’s treated tastefully and not at all sexual. Its suitable for everyone. Imagine a Studio Ghibli film NOT directed from Studio Ghibli.

Ah yes, watched that movie and I LOVED it. Definitely agree with your statement here. I also like how the style is more to my taste compared to Ghibli’s. If I’m correct, this movie was made by the same person who brought us Voices of a Distant Star. I highly recommend that one as well if you like sci-fi love stories. 😃
 
Well, I just watched the latest SAO episode and was pretty much spot on with my predictions for it. Heartbreak. Big time. God I feel sorry for Sugu. ;w;

On the brighter side, I finally caught up with the latest Busou Shinki episode as well which means I’m getting closer to fixing my schedule for a lot of anime watching. >:3 (That and I like how this series just seems to go in a cute, slice-of-life direction than anything serious as initially implied.)

Operation Expand Manga/Anime Index is being successful so far. >:3
 
I found an Ami Kawashima prize figure for sale on eBay from a seller I’ve bought from before. Being such a big fan of Toradora, I bought it. I would have bought his Taiga prize figure, but I already own a scaled one of her.

Also, I’m getting a Kuroyukihime (of Accel World) figma in the mail sometime soon.

OK guys, I have to let off some steam. Would you beleive it that I just got banned from you tube? It wouldn’t bother me so much except all my favorites, all my playlists just got lost and worse, all my music playlists are now null and void. To make it even worse, I tried creating a new account but google won’t let me unless I give them my phone number. I’m not giving those thieves my phone number, not on my life. It’s not like I even posted anything that would infringe on anyone’s copyright. I only posted some music videos on Rurouni Kenshin, Berserk and Lilium and thats it. I didn’t post any anime episodes or anything.

What do guys think I should do?

Well, I got my Accel World figma in today. It wasn’t Kuroyukihime. It was her online avatar Black Lotus. Lots of blades on this one!

Of course, my collection isn’t just girls. I’ve got a few guys, like this Shizuo Heiwajima (of Durarara) figure.
 
I don’t know whats happening guys but I feel so depressed and empty all of a sudden.😦
 
I’m a fan of anime as well. I don’t think anime in general is immoral or sinful to watch at all unless one is watching a hentai anime or an ecchi anime that causes one to have and dwell upon sinful thoughts.

My favorites would have to be Hikaru no Go, GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka), Monster, Tsukihime, Slam Dunk, Angel Beats, Rurouni Kenshin, just to name a few. 😃

I’m anxious for the 2nd season of Chihayafuru, and am currently watching Sword Art Online as they are being released on CR.

I also watch most of my anime on CR (crunchroll) and Hulu. Is that where most of you guys go to watch?

Man, I’ve gone crazy on Berserk Like Kenshin, it has a simple story yet an epic one with some of the greatest characters ever, Right now, it’s my number 4 most favorite anime and manga ever.
