How? I thought the Muslim faith was created 600 years after our Lord created his Church, where is this proof that Ishamel created Islam

Ishmael and Hagar were sent out into the wilderness. He is considered the father of the Arabs.
 
No. That’s Mohammad.

Mohammad was an Arab who claimed to have been visited by the angel gabriel and received revelation from God and that Jews and Christians both had things wrong and that he was sent as the final prophet. He united the various Arab tribes, converted many of them, and when Jews and Christians rejected him as a prophet launched a war to force them to convert to Islam.

Pretty much. Same way Christians do. Because Judaism was the precursor to Christianity.
 
So because they acknowledge a prophet that we acknowledge, they have a license to conquer and kill? I don’t think so.

Yes but is there viable proof of Islam’s claim to Ishmael. Did Ishamel teach an Islamic sort of doctrine? Do they have descendents leading up to Mohammed?
 
That I don’t know. Maybe @spyridon knows the answer to this.

There is zero evidence for any claims that Ishmael was a Muslim or the way he worshipped even remotely resembled todays Islamic way of worship.

It is pure faith that Muslims believe this, not because of any history, archaeology, or science.
