This new design looks cold and unappealing and it is more difficult to find what you’re looking for.

NOT ME!!

Oh goodness.
This is far easier, and I love the fact that the fora are color coded.

Plus, it will not happen. This is far more cost effective for many reasons.
Sometimes it really is about how much something costs to use. Most people don’t donate to the forum I would guess.
ETA: There’s an appeal going on right now for $$ due to a summer shortfall of donations.

This style actually seems to have a better layout but that’s just my personal opinion.

As I suspected, I like the new design much better. Though I will always have a fondness for the old one, I wouldn’t choose to go back. It’s not really up to me, though, so I just accept it as is. 😁

I don’t like the new format. Bring back the old. There was nothing wrong with it M. E.

I like this one. Too many new features make up for what I miss. I especially like the color options. I am Dark.

I prefer the new for posting and quoting. It is like the flood. We all got out of the ark and the world is new, so we can’t go back.

Still feeling a bit lost in this new one,it will take me some time to become familiar with it.

Hi, Anthony!

Yeah, there are things lost with this new format… but we must move on with the changes… recall what happened to the dinosaurs–we wouldn’t want our great, great, great… grand children using us for fuel do we? 😋

Hi!

…yet, I miss things like better tracking, division of threads, faster emojis, font size and colors (can it be changed on this format?), better notifications…

Ditto both. I find the new software much easier to navigate and more useful new features that more than compensate for any lost functionality.

Heck, being able to continue editing a reply when my connection drops is in itself more than worth it.

Plus as others have stated, “we ain’t goin’ back, so complaining about it won’t change it.” I have to say that @cawebmaster has been much more responsive to requested changes than I ever saw on the old platform. Doesn’t mean everyone will get everything they want, but there is certainly effort being made to address concerns within the constraints of the new platform.

Personally I would be a little bummed if we returned to vBulletin.

Hi, Pug!

Thanks!

…lazy boy find’s it hard to adjust… but that’s life!

@anthony022071 what are you having difficulty finding? Perhaps I can help.

Your cat’s eyes don’t blink and to me, nothing else matters. This is totally unacceptable.

I am not that computer savvy so it took me some time to get used to this new format but I do like it. That said I liked the old one as well. I appreciate the people that post tips on how to navigate the new forum on threads where it is done.

It is not going to change back. That said, I would like to see the old emojis added as an option, and the ability to instantly track one’s own posts was an asset. I get notifications that a post I made was responded to, but trying to find my original post is more difficult on this format. Then again, I am also not that computer savvy so maybe there is a way to instantly see all my own posts, I just haven’t figured it out yet.

Click the little gear, and then click activity. They’re all there. Most recent on top
