Who wants the forums to be changed back to the old design and colors?

Nope, I can’t make the changes. As you suspected, you need admin privileges. I have made suggestions in the past (ala how to add the custom Religion field to the user card). Don’t know if that was already in the works or if my prompting had anything to do with it.

I have played with discobot’s code to have it give random Saint’s quotes, but I can’t rewrite it to do our bidding since that would be a violation of its freewill

I think I understand what you mean regarding the starkness…

I actually am used to the lay-out now, and I like being able to see everyone’s replies/responses.

it’s so much easier on my eyes, and everyone’s responses seem much more spread out so that I can see them more easily.

Plus, I feel like we’re interacting with each other more easily, too, which is such a wonderful benefit, and a more positive benefit, too. I don’t know how else to describe it, except to say it in this way.

So, I think I may use my Japanese goblin as a work around to the 16 character rule, not that I make short posts very often. And one more gripe with an easy work around are those annoying pop ups that keep telling you how to post. For example, they tell you to consider replying to someone else. Just hit esc. and ignore them.
