I voted Santorum, but I haven’t heard him officially declare yet. Maybe I missed it? I really like Michele Bachmann but she wasn’t listed in the poll nor has she officially declared.

He has filed an exploritory committee with the FEC and announced the committee on FoxNews

The website to his exploritory committee is here:

I’m thinking Palin will run.

I’d vote for her, Ron Paul, or Cain.

Ron Paul, the only candidate to show up for the right to life rally in Washington, D.C. prior to the last presidential election.

**‘The Undefeated’ could be a game-changer for Sarah Palin **

First, it reminds you why you fell in love with Sarah Palin the first time. A lot of conservatives were tremendously excited when she was selected as John McCain’s running mate — and were even more smitten after her rousing GOP convention speech in Minneapolis. Over time, however, some conservatives fell off the bandwagon — partly because of the McCain campaign’s mishandling, partially because of the media’s portrayals, and partly for good reason. This film captures the emotional response — the hope and excitement — many Americans felt when she was selected. Don’t be surprised if some folks even tear up during the convention speech scene.

Putting emotion aside, the second thing this film does well is make the logical case for Palin to be taken seriously. Viewers who have never read “Sarah from Alaska” or “Going Rogue” may learn for the first time just how good she was as governor. Her short tenure as Governor of Alaska was remarkably strong (as the film points out, her approval rating was well over 80 percent when she was placed on the national ticket). Bannon spends a lot of time telling the story of Palin’s accomplishments as governor, and the truth is that few governors — even two-term governors — have ever had a better or more productive eighteen months than Palin had before her selection as McCain’s running mate.

I’ll wait and see who gets the nomination. I like Pawlenty, Cain and Bachman. Pawlenty is a true conservative and has hired at least three of the people from the Jeb Bush campaigns. It is considered a coup, I think, and I believe that he will come along as people get to know him. Cain is great and could probably do a very good job with the fiscal mess we are in. Bachman is certainly conservative and very educated but I don’t think the GOP is ready to give the nod to a female.

Anybody Republican on the list is far superior to Obama. Right now I think the nomnation will go to Romney. The best chance the democrats have of holding on to the presidency is find a way to convince Obama not to run

A governor or former governor is always a very strong candidate.

Palin & Pawlenty?

Palin understands first hand, that the RNC does not want to win. These inside the beltway bunch ONLY wants to be on Face the Nation and the other Sunday talk shows and to have nice lunches with lobby clients.

Newt … never uses one word when ten thousand can be substituted.

Romney … suffers from complete-sentence-itis … g*d, he goes on and on … ask what time it is and he will tell you all the events in his life involving time that worked and didn’t work. Has a real problem with the inflexibilities and onesizefitsall “issues” in Massachusetts-care/ Romney-care that are already plaguing Obamacare.

Ron Paul … never got above the House of Representatives. Wonderful guy. Has a loyal following.

Rick Santorum … too much of a lightweight.

Palin is arguably the BEST synthesizer I have ever heard speak. She can take a complex issue with all kinds of different and complicated angles and come up with a coherent unified paragraph.

Obama has the full support of the Socialist community. It’s a big and well funded bunch, with lots of people in it for the financial favors and special treatment they can expect to gain. But he cannot speak without a teleprompter, even after all these years.

Whoever’s not Obama.
Agreed on that.

As for the best Republican Candidate…I’m still waiting until we know the field better.

I wish Christie would run. I’ve heard good things about Cain, but worry about his electability. Palin isn’t going to run, if she;s smart she’ll buy her time and score a cabinet post. I like Pawlenty too, but i’d like to see more of him first. Newt could do a great job as president, but I doubt he could get elected. Not a huge Romney fan either, he’s old news and the Mormon thing could hurt him a lot.

Reluctantly, Obama. While he hasn’t been kind to my line of work in many ways, at least he’s the only thing standing in the way of the Republicans destroying social security and medicare to turn them into cash cows for the for-profit insurance crooks and the private 401K gambling outfits. He caught Osama, which is more than I could say for Bush and company. Hopefully he’ll wrap up these two disastrous wars, get the economy back on track, and thwart all the pro-rich anti-working class nonsense the GOP is aspiring to dish out on this country.

Palin is so off the table I’d rather vote for Pee Wee Herman. The rest don’t have a prayer, especially Romney who is basically Obama trying to reinvent himself as a conservative. Pawlenty is a dud. Gingrich is a hypocrite. Mike Huckabee, though I disagree with him in several areas, is basically a good and decent man most of the time. But he decided not to run. Bachman is like Palin with even less knowledge and intelligence.

The GOP field looks pretty sad. Truly a least among evils situation.

I hope Mike Huckabee changes his mind.He was a good governor, seems to be a Christian and good human being. But I would not vote for him if he were in favor of dismantling Medicare.Probably he would not do that.

I will vote for the person who is best for the country as a whole. I support the president’s re-election.

Unfortunately, Obama’s not whats best for Oklahoma. Maybe New York, Illinois and California.

But I wouldn’t expect the liberals to allow us to know what’s best for our own states.

At least Cathoilcs will have no excuses this time around. No more nonsense Bout how Obam is really pro-life , no moe non
