I thought that by you posting a link to those pictures that you were citing an example of what Bush is to be held responsible for, when the responsible parties are already being punished.

I would call al-Zarqawi a religious leader, he certainly uses Islam that way.

We didn’t start this, they did. They are responsible for those beheadings, not Bush or Blair. Kidnapping a 65 yr old. Takes alot of bravery there.

Our war is against Islamisists. Best to know who your enemy is.
 
The article expresses the usual moral relatavism that the Left was so fond of during the cold war. Stalins murder of 30 million was dismissed, for instance, as no different than the US embargo of Cuba.

The Toronto Star basically wants Christain leaders to stand up and criticize politcal views/actions the Star doesnt like. Its mostly tripe but coming from the Toronto Star it shouldnt suprise anyone

My apologies, I read through it again and saw what you were talking about.

If I had to work there, I wouldn’t be taken alive. Maybe that is why they are doing it to civilians and not military.
