How does having a differing opinion make me mean-spirited? Have I been mean-spirited towards Pathia’s plight? Pathia certainly hasn’t indicated that I have in our various PM’s.
Well your equating me with mean spirited seems to be from the fact that I don’t use the usuall talking points and I come from my own set of premises which seems to frusterate you. You quite frankly send off very aloof vibes to me.

I like to keep it light-hearted, simply because we take our own opinions way too seriously. I mean, you are entitled to your own opinion, and I don’t expect us to agree on everthing, but you have that right. Maybe not a right to free health care, but a right to have the opinion that you deserve free health care!

I haven’t really found anything in this thread to be amusing, I haven’t found anything to be insulting either though. But then I haven’t laughed in months, I just hurt too much. I mean sure I ‘laugh’. A fake laugh, to keep on a happy face, the charade that I paint my situation to those close to me in reality. It is ironic that I lie to them for their benefit, while I tell the truth to complete strangers, but such is life.

Keep in mind people take insults differently. Whereas some people are more apt to take specific things said as an insult others are more likely to take certain type of attitudes as an insult. Im the latter. I find the whole idea that antcedotal evedance , my example being red herrings, and lack of care about the poeple in the article I put in the Op totally insulting. We are so worried about a null and void constitution over basic human dignity it makes me sick. In the OP article a man and his family loose their house over him having a brain anurysm, and no one cares. You talk about freedom in reference to to health care, but with his home gone his freedom is gone with it, he is reduced to livng like a dog for the rest of his lif just because of a defect in an artury in his brain. If that was my situation I’d say just let me die.We need healthcare reform yesterday. We need to get something through imediately. We can perfect it later. No matter what plan would get passed and go through, you know will be tweeked in the coming years, thats the time to perfect it. If we are going to wait for the perfect plan before pssing it, everyone around now will be dead before it happens, if it happens. I actually have ideas of my own, but being pragmatic as I am, i know very well that many of those dieas would be rejected by both liberals and conservatives, so I actually don’t waist my time talking about it. Lastly one thing I find verry appalling here especially from the conservatives is the treatment of health care like its just another service out in consumer land no differnet from the clerk at the Burger King counter… I find this flippent attitude sickening. All I hear is cost cost cost., who care whats needed. Bust when the cost puts someone out on the street we suddenly could careless about the cost. If you are perfectly healthy,have that magic way of making the boss happy with you to give you a raise and appeal to the lowest common denominator in the market conservatism is for you. But many of us are not that LUCKY.

Well, I don’t listen to him very often anymore; been at least 3 years since I listened to him regularly. Doesn’t matter is Rush says it or Alan Colmes says it, they both have rightly dismissed looney-toon conspiracies like you subscribe to about one world goverments, SKull and Bones society, etc. Now that the core of what you truly believe has *finally *come out, how can anyone take you seriously?
