I have a feeling that the issue of stagnant wages will be and probably should be a political talking point in the upcoming election of 2020.
It is interesting to me that I seem more and more older people working at fast food places like McDonalds. I asked a worker one time, why they we working there. He told me that he had lost another job and that was all that he could find. Not that there is anything wrong with a job there, but I associate jobs like that with youngsters who are just getting into the work force on a part-time basis.
